SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – After a six-day layoff, the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team returns to action Tuesday when it travels to take on Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe Seton Hill University at 4 p.m.

Records: Slippery Rock has won four out of its last five games to improve its record to 4-2-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the PSAC. Seton Hill is 4-3-1 overall and 4-2-1 in league play.

Brooke Edwards both scored goals to pace SRU in its 2-0 win against Kutztown (

Scouting Slippery Rock: SRU has allowed more than one goal in a game only three times in its last 40 contests dating back to the middle of the 2012 season. The Rock's stellar defense has held opponents to just 12 shots on goal in the second half of games this season. Since 2010, Slippery Rock is 26-11-9 in true road contests.

Hegeman's four shutouts is a PSAC-high. She also ranks fourth in goals against average (GAA) (.546), fifth in save percentage (.895) and sixth in saves (34).

Slippery Rock's offensive attack has featured a balanced attack thus far with Henny,
Andrea Felix and
Ali Brosky each accumulating two goals on the year while Edwards and
Dara Demich have both added one score apiece. Edwards' goal against Kutztown was the first of her collegiate career.

Caitlin Binder, who leads SRU with two assists one the year, is The Rock's active career leader in assists with nine. Brosky, Edwards, Felix,
Crysta Ganter and
Haley Burkholder have all chipped in assists on the year as well.

Scouting Seton Hill: Nine of Seton Hill's 13 goals in 2014 have come in the second half of games. Megan Warman and Breanna Novosel are tied for the Griffin lead with eight points off of matching three-goal, two-assist seasons. Andrea Wisniewski also has two goals and two assists while five other SHU players have all accounted for one goal each. Carolin Edenhofner has started seven games at goal for Seton Hill and is 4-2-1 with two shutouts, 21 saves (.750) and a GAA of 1.01. Backup goalkeeper Kayla DiPaolo has started one of three games played as well.

John Fogle enters his 25th season as head women's soccer coach at Seton Hill. Four consecutive NAIA District Championships highlight his career. Fogle has tallied a 47-60-4 record at Seton Hill since the Griffins joined NCAA Division II in 2008.
