Last Time Out: Slippery Rock opened up its PSAC schedule by defeating California (Pa.) 3-1. Peter Boylan, Josh Allman and Dom Francis tallied Slippery Rock's goals (Box Score).

Millersville dropped a 2-1 decision in non-conference play at the District of Columbia (Box Score).

Scouting Slippery Rock: Stephen Donnelly has contributed a goal or an assist in Slippery Rock's last four games. For the season, Donnelly leads The Rock in total points (eight) and assists (four) to go with a pair of goals. His four assists are tied for first place in the PSAC and his eight points rank fourth in the league.

Francis, whose three goals are a team-high, has scored in three of four games played in 2014 including strikes in Slippery Rock's last two contests. Six of Francis' eight shots this season have been on goal.

Boylan has also proven to be a great compliment to The Rock's offense as of late with two goals over three games.

In addition to being the game-winner, Allman's goal at California (Pa.) was the first of his Slippery Rock career.

Five Rock players have one assist on the season in Allman, Josh Brake, Brandon Chiu, Mike Pcholinsky and Mike Ilodigwe.

Goalkeeper Steven Rerick has 33 saves (.767 percent), a 2.00 goals against average (GAA) and one shutout in his first season as a starter.

Scouting Millersville: Despite its poor record, Millersville still begins the week tied for third in the league in goals scored with 10. However, the Marauders have also allowed 17 goals, which is the second most given up by a PSAC team thus far. Jamie Vazquez is Millersville's leader in goals (three), assists (one), points (seven), total shots (17) and shots on goal (nine). Jesse Zimmerman has also totaled two goals and one assist for Millersville with the quintet of Alex LaFaver, Devin Rediker, Zach Brier, Jonathan Dadeboe and Ahmed Qaisl all notching one score as well. Head Coaches: Andy Hoggarth became the 11th head coach in Slippery Rock history on May 30, 2014 after serving as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team at the University of Akron in 2013. Prior to that appointment, he served as the head coach of both the men's and women's soccer teams at nearby Thiel College for six seasons from 2007-12.

Series History: Millersville holds a 15-10-2 advantage over Slippery Rock in the all-time series. Millersville and SRU played three times in 2013 with Slippery Rock winning the regular season game and advancing past the Marauders on penalty kicks in the first round of the PSAC Tournament before losing to MU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Last Meeting: Chiu scored a goal in the 24th minute, but The Rock couldn't hold on to the lead as Millersville came back to score a pair of second half goals and eliminate SRU from the NCAA Tournament with a 2-1 victory on Nov. 16, 2013 (Box Score).
