SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team returns to conference play when it hosts Seton Hill University Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at MIhalik-Thompson Stadium.

Records: Slippery Rock enters Tuesday's game with an overall record of 3-1-1 and a PSAC mark of 2-1-1. The Rock is riding a two-game winning streak after road wins at Edinboro (2-1) and Davis & Elkins (1-0) last week.
Seton Hill is in its first season as a member of the PSAC and brings an overall and PSAC record of 2-4 into Tuesday's game. The Griffins are riding a two-game losing streak with losses to Kutztown (2-0) and Mansfield (3-1) last week.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock is outshooting the opposition 63-34 and outscoring opponents 6-4.
Freshman
Andrea Felix leads the team with three goals and one assist, while fellow freshman
Dara Demich ranks second in scoring with two goals and one assist.
Lauren Impey has the only other goal this season, while
Cailin Conner,
Sam Thornton and
Allison Harbart all have one assist to cap the top scorers.
The back four of Impey,
Izabel Scott,
Lynn Neef and
Marissa Scullin have allowed just 15 shots on target in five games.
Scouting the Griffins: Seton Hill is being outscored 9-4 and outshot 92-43 through six games.
The Griffins have received two goals from Jessica Adams and one goal each from Erika Wisniewski and Allison Mello. Breanna O'Leary and Stephanie Mizia cap the point scorers with one assist each.
Goalkeepers: Dana O'Neill is 2-1-1 with one shutout, a 0.95 goals against average and a .692 save percentage in four games for SRU.
Annabelle Hegeman played the full 90 minutes and earned a shutout with two saves at Davis & Elkins in her first collegiate appearance.
Bethany Winter has played every minute in goal for Seton Hill and is 2-4 with a 1.50 goals against average and a .830 save percentage.
Series: Slippery Rock owns a 3-2 edge in the all-time series between the two teams, including a 7-1 win in the last meeting, which came during the 2011 season.
Head Coaches: Noreen Herlihy, the reigning PSAC and Atlantic Region Coach of the Year, is in her 19th season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. She has led the team to 17 consecutive winning seasons and owns a career record of 227-104-28. The 17 straight winning seasons include 15 consecutive with at least 10 wins and ranks as the eighth-best streak in Division II history.
John Fogle is in his 24th season as the head coach at Seton Hill, where he has guided the program through transitions from the NAIA to NCAA Division II and from the WVIAC to the PSAC this year. Fogle was inducted into the first class of the Seton Hill Hall of Fame in 2006.

All of Slippery Rock's goal scorers in that game are no longer with the team, as
Stephanie Buckenheimer tallied three goals and one assist and
Kara Mullins and
Lucy Hannon each scored two goals and handed out one assist.
The lone Rock players on the current team that tallied points in that game were
Izabel Scott and
Nicole Krueger, who each had an assist.
Dana O'Neill earned the win in goal for SRU after making four saves. Bethany Winter took the loss after allowing all seven goals and recording two saves.
Slippery Rock posted advantages of 16-9 in total shots, 10-5 in shots on goal and 4-2 in corner kicks.
PSAC Gets Deeper: With the addition of Seton Hill and Pitt-Johnstown to the PSAC this year, the league now has 17 women's soccer teams, meaning nearly every game on the 2013 schedule will count in the PSAC standings. The only non-conference game for SRU this season was a 1-0 win at Davis & Elkins Sept. 21.
Next Up: Slippery Rock travels to Pitt-Johnstown for a PSAC game Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. and then visits Gannon for a PSAC match Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. The Rock's next home game is set for Oct. 5 against Mercyhurst at 2 p.m.
