SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The 24th ranked Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will face Millersville University in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference semifinals Friday at 2 p.m. at Mercyhurst University in Erie.
Tickets: All students from PSAC institutions will be admitted free with a valid student ID. The PSAC mandates the prices for adults at $7 and for students of non-PSAC institutions at $2. All tickets can be purchased at the gate.

PSAC Playoff Picture: Mercyhurst earned the No. 1 seed and will host the semifinals Friday and the title game Saturday in Erie. The other bye went to No. 2 seed Slippery Rock after it was discovered that West Chester was forced to vacate its wins over Cal and SRU. No. 3 seed Millersville defeated No. 6 seed Seton Hill 2-0 in the quarterfinals Tuesday. No. 4 West Chester defeated No. 5 Shippensburg 1-0 in overtime in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
National Rankings: Slippery Rock moved back into the final regular season national rankings this week at No. 24. All four of the teams in the PSAC semifinals are mentioned in the national rankings. Mercyhurst ranks 13th, West Chester ranked 20th and Millersville was listed in a group of teams receiving votes.
Regional Rankings: All four of the teams competing this weekend are ranked in the top-five in the official NCAA Atlantic Region rankings. Only the top four will qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Notre Dame (Ohio) remained No. 1 in the rankings. Millersville is No. 2, followed by Slippery Rock, West Chester, Millersville and Charleston.
Records: Slippery Rock enters the playoffs with an overall record of 12-3-2 and a PSAC mark of 7-3-1. Those records do not reflect the extra win SRU was granted by the PSAC due to the vacated West Chester win.
Millersville enters the game with an overall record of 12-5-1 and a PSAC mark of 8-3.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 37-15 and outshooting the opposition 263-230.
Stephen Donnelly leads the team with six goals and two assists, while
Dom Francis has five goals and four assists and
Michael Ramirez has added six goals and one assist.
Zach Hall has four goals, all game-winners, and three assists, as does
Declan Brennan.
Joshua Gray leads the team and ranks among the nation's leaders in assists with 11 and also has one goal.
Brandon Chiu has three goals and one assist to cap the top scorers.
SRU leads the PSAC in team goals against average and save percentage.
Chris Zier has won nine-of-11 starts for SRU and owns a 9-3 record with a 0.97 goals against average and a region-best .857 save percentage. He has made 66 saves and allowed just 11 goals in nearly 1,025 minutes of action.
Joe Agerskow made his first start in goal in 11 games Saturday at Shippensburg and made 11 saves. He has started six games and is 3-0-2 with a 0.64 goals against average and a .882 save percentage in 559 minutes of action.
Streaking: The Rock has been defeated in just seven games dating back to the beginning of last season, going unbeaten in 31-of-38 games. Slippery Rock has also not lost a road game this season, going 7-0-2 away from The Rock. SRU is the only team in the PSAC to post an unblemished record against non-conference teams in each of the last two years.
Rock in the Playoffs: Slippery Rock is making its second straight trip to the PSAC playoffs and third under head coach Michael Bonelli. The Rock lost 1-0 in the PSAC title game at Mercyhurst last season and was eliminated from the 2010 playoffs in the semifinals at Shippensburg. SRU's last PSAC title came in 2009 and was the sixth in the history of the program (1952, 1953, 1954, 1974, 2005, 2009).
Scouting the Marauders: Millersville has the top offense in the PSAC and is outscoring opponents 46-21 and outshooting the opposition 304-183.
Andrew Dukes leads the team with 11 goals and six assists to pace five players that have double figure point totals. Jaime Vazquez has nine goals and four assists, Jeramey Robbins has six goals and eight assists, Ben Johnston has three goals and a team-high 13 assists and Zack Caracciolo has four goals and three assists.
Bran Benzing has started 17 games in goal this season and is 12-4-1 with a 1.02 goals against average and a .746 save percentage. He has recorded six shutouts on the year.
Marauders in the Playoffs: Millersville is making its seventh straight appearance in the PSAC playoffs. The Marauders went 0-6 in PSAC title games, including a 2-1 loss against SRU in the 2009 title game when Millersville was the No. 1 team in the country, before breaking through to win their first league title in 2011.
Series: Millersville owns a 14-10-1 advantage in the all-time series, but Slippery Rock is 8-5-1 since 2004. The Rock own the most recent win in the series and the teams have split the last eight meetings 4-4. One of these two teams has played in the PSAC title game in four of the last five years. The lone year one of the teams did not play for the title, 2010, both teams advanced to the PSAC semifinals.

Box Score) Slippery Rock shocked Millersville with a 4-3 comeback win Oct. 30 in the NSCAATV Game of the Week. The Rock scored twice in the final 1:31 to complete the comeback win.
Dom Francis assisted the tying goal scored by
Josh Brake with 1:31 to play and then drilled the game-winner with just eight seconds left after taking a long throw-in from
Joshua Gray.
The teams played a nearly even game, with both teams registering 16 total shots. Millersville posted slight edges of 12-10 in shots on goal and 7-4 in corner kicks.
Both teams scored three goals in the second half after The Rock led 1-0 at halftime.
Head Coaches: Michael Bonelli is in his fourth season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. Bonelli has posted a record of 41-22-11 during his SRU tenure. He has led the program to three berths in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs and one appearance in the conference title game.
Steve Widdowson is in his seventh season as the head coach at Millersville, where he has led the team to the PSAC playoffs in every season. He owns a record of 92-40-8, which is the best winning percentage (.686) in Millersville history. His teams have won 54 out of 72 conference games during his tenure.
