SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will host Mansfield University in the final regular season home game Tuesday at James Egli Field. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock enters the game with a 8-4-1 overall record and a 5-4-1 mark in PSAC action. The Rock is coming off a 2-0 win over Millersville Saturday.
Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 26-13 and outshooting the opposition 182-121.
Lucy Hannon leads the way with eight goals and six assists, followed by
Shelby Ward with five goals and one assist.
Stephanie Buckenheimer,
Kara Mullins and
Emer Flatley all have two goals, while
Lauren Impey adds one goal and three assists and
Caitlin Binder adds four assists. A total of 12 players have scored at least one goal on the season.
Dana O'Neill is 8-4-1 with six shutouts in goal. She has allowed 13 goals for a 0.96 goals against average and made 42 saves for a .764 save percentage.
Scouting the Mountaineers: Mansfield enters the game with a 2-9-2 overall record and a 0-8-2 PSAC record. The Mountaineers are coming off a 1-1 tie against Clarion Saturday.
Mansfield is being outscored 38-10 and outshot 219-131 on the year. Only four players have found the back of the net and six players have recorded a point. Erika Moyer has provided half of the team's scoring with five goals. Karyn Anselmo has added three goals and one assist, while Kelsey Chapman has one goal and two assists. Jessica Kerwin has one goal and one assist to cap the goal scorers and Lauren Boss and Nicole Semenza each have one assist to cap the point scorers.
Alexis Wilhelm has played the majority of minutes in goal and is 2-6-2 with one shutout. She has allowed 21 goals for a 2.19 goals against average and has made 63 saves for a .750 save percentage.
Head Coaches: Noreen Herlihy is in her 18th season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. She has led the team to 16 consecutive winning seasons with 10 or more wins and owns a career record of 219-101-25. The 16 consecutive winning seasons rank eighth all-time in Division II history. Herlihy is a 1992 graduate of Mercyhurst College with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine. She also owns a master's degree in sports administration from Slippery Rock.
Tim Dempsey is in his 11th season as the head coach at Mansfield, where he has been the only coach in the history of the program. Dempsey was the head coach at Green Mountain College in Vermont for 12 seasons before coming to Mansfield. His team's claimed the Mayflower Conference title in 11of those seasons. Dempsey is a 1982 graduate of Glassboro.
Series: Slippery Rock and Mansfield have met five times in the history of the two programs with Slippery Rock earning the win in each of those meetings. Mansfield has yet to score a goal against SRU, with SRU owning a 16-0 edge in scoring in the series. The closest game of the series was last fall, when The Rock earned a 1-0 win at Egli Field.

Box Score) Slippery Rock struggled to score but handed a pesky Mansfield team a 1-0 defeat at Egli Field Oct. 18, 2011. The Rock posted advantages of 18-3 in total shots and 6-0 in shots on goal, while Mansfield earned a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Hannon scored the lone goal off an assist from Ward in the 22nd minute. Ironically, that tally was Hannon's ninth of the year last year. Entering Tuesday's game, she sits on eight goals again this season.
Alana Krieger took the loss in goal for Mansfield after making five saves.
Lisa Rodgers earned the win for SRU, despite not needing to make a save.
