NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Three members of the Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team earned All-America honors when the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division II All-America team Wednesday.

Defender Paige Jenkins earned first team All-America honors, while attacker Grace Rotter and goalie Lily Ventresca received third team recognition.

One of the top defenders in the nation and in Slippery Rock program history, Jenkins becomes SRU's inaugural two-time first team IWLCA All-American. Rotter also collected her second IWLCA All-America honor after also being a third team selection a season ago. Ventresca is making her first appearance on the IWLCA All-America Team.

Wednesday's announcement makes The Rock's all-star trio unanimous All-Americans in 2026 as they all appeared on USA Lacrosse Magazine's Division II All-America Team which was released May 13 as well.

Jenkins broke the SRU single-season and career records for caused turnovers this spring and led the No. 1 ranked scoring defense in the country. She finished the year with 64 caused turnovers, 73 ground balls and 65 draw controls. She also scored one goal on just two shot attempts and finished the year ranked in the top 10 nationally in caused turnovers per game. SRU's defense allowed just 344 total shots all year and allowed a national low 5.57 goals per game.

Rotter set the SRU single-season record for points and finished with 90 points on 63 goals and 27 assists this spring. She also topped the former single-season record for goals and now sits at No. 2 on that single-season ledger, behind Reagan Richeson and her 70 goals. Rotter also grabbed 44 draw controls, caused 25 turnovers and picked up 26 ground balls this spring.

Ventresca led the No. 1 scoring defense in the country and ranked No. 1 among all goalies in the nation in goals against average this spring with a 5.79 goals against average. She tallied a career-best .479 save percentage and allowed just 101 total goals in more than 1,047 minutes between the posts. She set a new program record for single-season goalie wins with a 19-1 overall record this spring and is now 35-2 as The Rock's starting goalie over the last two seasons.

The trio helped to lead Slippery Rock to an incredible 20-1 overall record in 2026 that included a perfect 17-0 regular season and a victory over Kutztown to claim the first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title in program history. SRU set a new single-season program record for wins for the third straight year after winning 15 games in 2024 and 18 games in 2025.
