IWLCA All-Region Teams
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Six members of the Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team were named to All-America honors by USA Lacrosse Magazine and All-Region honors by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association when both organizations announced Division II award winners Wednesday.

Slippery Rock led all schools in the Atlantic Region with six All-Region selections on the IWLCA regional team and ranked second nationally with six All-America selections on the USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America team. The six selections to both teams marks a new program record for SRU in a single-season, surpassing the previous program records of four All-Region honorees in both 2024 and 2025 and four All-Americans in 2025.

IWLCA ALL-REGION
Slippery Rock tied with Wingate for the most selections in the region with six All-Region honorees, including a region-best five first team selections. Jenkins becomes a three-time All-Region selection after also earning second team honors in 2024 and first team honors in 2025. Rotter becomes a two-time honoree after being named to first team honors in 2025, while the other four selections pick up their first career All-Region recognition. All six SRU selections will advance to the ballot for the IWLCA All-America team, which will be announced next week.

USA LACROSSE MAGAZINE ALL-AMERICA
Slippery Rock ranked second nationally with six All-Americans, trailing only the seven for No. 1 Flagler, on the USA Lacrosse All-America squad. Jenkins becomes a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American after earning second team honors in 2025 and becomes the first SRU player in program history to be named as a first team All-American by USA Lacrosse. Ventresca also becomes a two-time All-American after also being selected to the honorable mention team in 2025. The other four SRU selections are first team honorees.

RECORD SETTING YEAR
The group of awardees helped Slippery Rock set numerous program records, both as a team and individually, this spring. The Rock reeled off 20 straight wins, won the PSAC West title for the second year in a row, won the first outright PSAC title in program history and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It marked the third straight year the program has set a new record for wins in a season after winning 15 games in 2024 and 18 games in 2025. This year's team broke at least nine single-season team program records and eight individual single-season records, which are outlined below.

A look at the individual accomplishments of each of the six Slippery Rock All-Americans can be found below. All six players have another season of eligibility and are planning to return to The Rock in 2027.

PAIGE JENKINS
- 1st team USA Lacrosse All-American

Jenkins broke the SRU single-season and career records for caused turnovers this spring and led the No. 1 ranked scoring defense in the country. She finished the year with 64 caused turnovers, 73 ground balls and 65 draw controls. She also scored one goal on just two shot attempts and finished the year ranked in the top 10 nationally in caused turnovers per game. SRU's defense allowed just 344 total shots all year and allowed a national low 5.57 goals per game.

GRACE ROTTER

Rotter broke the SRU single-season record for points and finished with 90 points on 63 goals and 27 assists this spring. She also topped the former single-season record for goals and now sits at No. 2 on that single-season ledger, behind
Reagan Richeson and her 70 goals. Rotter also grabbed 44 draw controls, caused 25 turnovers and picked up 26 ground balls this spring.

ISABELLA BUONO
- 2nd team USA Lacrosse All-American
- 2nd team IWLCA All-Region

Buono set new career-highs this spring with 53 goals, 15 assists and 68 points, topping the 50-goal milestone for the first time in her career. She also led the team with 16 free position goals and was among the most accurate free position scorers in the country in 2026, converting on 70 percent of her free position attempts.

SHANNON VON KAENEL

Von Kaenel broke the SRU single-season record for draw controls and pulled down a region-best 193 draw controls on the year. She had 10 or more draw controls in nine different games and had a season-high 17 draw controls in a win over Lock Haven. Von Kaenel also caused nine turnovers, gabbed nine ground balls and scored 15 points on eight goals and seven assists.

REAGAN RICHESON

Richeson had a breakout junior year that saw her set the new SRU single-season record for goals with 70 goals, passing the former record of 61 that was set by Amy Halls in 2011. She also added 13 assists to finish with 83 points, the third most in a single-season in program history. Richeson also recorded impressive totals of 28 caused turnovers and 35 ground balls while leading one of the stingiest transition defenses in the country.

LILY VENTRESCA
- Honorable mention USA Lacrosse All-American

Ventresca led the No. 1 scoring defense in the country and ranked No. 1 among all goalies in the nation in goals against average this spring with a 5.79 goals against average. She tallied a career-best .479 save percentage and allowed just 101 total goals in more than 1,047 minutes between the posts. She set a new program record for single-season goalie wins with a 19-1 overall record this spring and is now 35-2 as The Rock's starting goalie over the last two seasons.
