Seaton Wozniak was named the Co-Male Field Athlete of the Week when the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its weekly track & field awards Tuesday.

Wozniak, a senior from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, was the top collegiate finisher in both the shot put and the discus throw and recorded NCAA provisional marks in both events at the Dave Labor Invitational last weekend at SRU.

He was the top collegiate finisher in the discus with a career-best and NCAA provisional throw of 52.11 meters, which is the No. 1 mark in the PSAC this year and No. 18 in Division II. He was also the top collegiate finisher in the shot put with a throw of 17.28 meters, which is the No. 13 mark in Division II this year.

In total, Wozniak recorded two performances that rank in the top 18 nationally on the same day Saturday.

Slippery Rock will split its team to three different meets this week with athletes competing at Susquehanna Thursday and Friday, Westminster Friday and Saturday and Bucknell Saturday and Sunday.
