NEW ORLEANS – Slippery Rock University landed 11 track & field athletes on the 2025-26 Indoor All-Region team in the Atlantic Region when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the All-Region honorees Thursday.

In order to earn All-Region honors, student-athletes must record one of the top five marks in the region in an individual event or run on one of the top three fastest relay teams in the region. The Atlantic Region includes all schools in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, the Mountain East Conference and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Slippery Rock placed four women and seven men on the All-Region team with all 11 honorees coming in the field. The group is headlined by a pair of athletes that put up the best mark in the region this winter. Logan Anderson broke the SRU and all-time PSAC records in the heptathlon with the top score in the region (5,323 points) and Seaton Wozniak set the SRU record in the shot put with the No. 1 throw in the region (18.40m).

The women's group was led by PSAC pole vault champion Allie Taylor, who recorded the No. 2 clearance in the region at 3.73 meters.

The rest of the women's honorees include Leighanne Swan with the No. 4 mark in the pentathlon (3,414 points), Baylee Blauser with the No. 5 mark in the long jump (5.86m) and Olivia Heckman with the No. 5 mark in the shot put (13.70m).

The Rock men put three pole vaulters in the top five in the region this year, led by Drew Layton with the No. 2 mark at 5.10 meters. He was joined by Logan Gossard with the No. 3 mark (4.98m) and Bradon Schneider with the No. 4 mark (4.83m).

Zach Gose joined Anderson and Wozniak in setting an SRU record this year with his weight throw toss of 19.68 meters ranking third in the region. The men's honorees were capped by freshman thrower Connor Brown, who posted the No. 4 shot put throw in the region at 17.11 meters.

Anderson, Layton and Wozniak will represent Slippery Rock at the Indoor National Championships this Friday and Saturday in Virginia Beach. A full preview for that event is available HERE.
