ROCK STAYS NO. 7 IN NFHCA POLL
The Rock maintained their No. 7 ranking in the nation for a second consecutive week and have now been listed in the NFHCA national rankings for five straight weeks overall, marking the second longest stretch of consecutive weeks a SRU has ever been continually ranked in the NFHCA poll.

This week's NFHCA poll remained largely the same from last week, with only No. 5 Bloomsburg / No. 6 West Chester and No. 8 Saint Anselm / No. 9 IUP flipping places. A full look at this week's poll can be found HERE.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
64 of The Rock's 99 wins (64.5 percent) over the last 14 years have come at the friendly confines of Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
Dating back to the 2010 season, Slippery Rock holds a commanding 51-27 (.654) record in non-PSAC games. SRU went 4-4 in non-conference play last year and is 7-0 in 2026.

MOST WINS SINCE 2017, TIED FOR 7TH ALL-TIME
With seven regular season games still to be played in 2026, this year's team has achieved the highest win total inside the program since 2017 (10-9). Additionally, this year's team is already tied for the seventh most wins in a single-season in program history.

TIED FOR MOST GOALS THROUGH 10 GAMES AT SRU
Slippery Rock heads into the D'Youville contest having scored 34 goals this season, which is tied with the 1976 team as the most goals scored by a Rock team through 10 games in program history.

SRU would need to put on a scoring barrage against D'Youville to have the most goals through 11 games in a season at The Rock: the 1975 team scored 40 goals and the 1976 squad had 34 in their opening 11 games.

WINS vs. NATIONALLY RANKED TEAMS
Since the 2010 season, Slippery Rock has won nine games against nationally ranked teams. The Rock's previous wins against nationally ranked teams include victories against Lander (2026 / No. 9), Kutztown (2017 / No. 5), West Chester (2017 / No. 3), East Stroudsburg (2014 / No. 5), Bloomsburg (2013 / No. 7), Indiana (2011 / No. 6, 2010 / No. 7, 2010 / No. 8) and LIU Post (2010 / No. 5).

ROCK GOALIES
• Slippery Rock has used three goalkeepers on the year, highlighted by starter Sam Black, who has quickly proven herself to be one of the top goalkeepers in Division II. A former NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week, Black has started all 10 games this season (494:59), making 41 saves on a .774 save percentage to go with a 1.45 goals against average.

• Behind Black is the duo of freshman Rylee Catterton and senior veteran Leah Riegling, both of whom have appeared in three games.

• Over 54:48 of playing time, Catterton has made two saves (.667) with one goal allowed. Riegling has been on the field for just under 50 minutes (49:23), making nine saves (.818) and giving up two goals.

10 GAMES, 10 GOAL SCORERS
Riley Cloude produced her first goal of the season last week against Shippensburg and in the process became the 10th Rock athlete to score a goal this season. This year marks the first time since 2022 that SRU has had double-digit goal scorers.

THE ROCK OFFENSE
• Leading the way for Slippery Rock's offensive attack is Lucy Hutchinson, who enters the D'Youville game with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists while placing 36 shots on goal. She still ranks third in Division II in points per game (2.40) and fourth in goals per game (1.00).

• Supplementing Hutchinson's scoring at five goals apiece is the trio of Coral Piramo, Grace Williams and Hilary Hoffman. The grouping are also tightly packed in the race for second on the team in points as Piramo has 13 (5 G / 3 A) with Hoffman and Williams both at 12 via two assists in addition to their five goals.

• Freshman Delaney Evans has come off the bench to provide The Rock with three goals 10 games into her collegiate career.

• Roz Mikualk is Slippery Rock's other multi-goal scorer so far this season. She has six points on two goals and two assists.

• Josie Shultz and Riley Cloude have etched out a matching stat line of five points on one goal and three assists.

• Keila Schutte-Hanekom is the ninth Rock athlete to tally at least one goal and one assist on the year. She has four points by way of one goal and two assists.

• Tatiana Calderon (1 G), Paige Shannon (1 A) and Haylie Sucharski (1 A) round out The Rock's offensive leaders. Sucharski has also registered a team-high two defensive saves.

SHOOTERS SHOOT
Through 10 games, Slippery Rock has averaged 20.4 shots per game and 13.5 shots on goal goals per game.

• Five Rock athletes have fired off at least 10 shots on goal this season already in Hutchinson (36), Hoffman (28), Piramo (22), Mikulak (10) and Grace Williams (18).

• The Rock's 135 shots on goal this year is already the fourth highest total in documented single-season history (since 2003) behind only the 2013 (168), 2017 (148) and 2012 (143) teams.

• In terms of total shots per game, if this year's team were to maintain its current average it would easily break the previous school record of 12.2 in 2013.
