LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock dropped a PSAC West tilt, 100-60, to No. 8 Indiana University (Pa.) Wednesday at Morrow Field House.
Iyanna Wade led Slippery Rock in scoring for the fifth time this season with her 16 points. Wade also facilitated a team-high five assists and grabbed two rebounds.
Mairan Haggerty led all bench scorers with 14 points, one point away from her career-high for the second consecutive game. Haggerty also brought down three rebounds.
Kayley Joseph-Bernard rounded out Slippery Rock's double-digit scorers with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including a 3-for-5 effort from the 3-point line.
Alyssa Gillin and
Sophia Hook both scored five points. Hook grabbed four rebounds, while Gillin collected four rebounds, dished out two assists, blocked two shots and picked up one steal.
Slippery Rock ended the game shooting 40.4 percent (21-of-52) from the field overall, 32 percent (8-for-25) from the 3-point line and 83.3 percent (10-of-12) from the charity stripe. The Rock's 83.3 percent clip from the free throw line was their highest of the season while taking at least 10 attempts. SRU outscored IUP, 19-16, off of turnovers.
Indiana shot to 63.5 percent (40-of-63) shooting from the floor overall, 50 percent (8-for-16) from beyond the arc and 80 percent (12-of-15) from the foul line.

MOVING THE ROCK
Ball movement has been key for SRU putting up 65.3 points per game as it has assisted on 57.8 percent (211-of-365) of it's made field goals.
Wade and Joseph-Bernard lead the way for Rock playmakers as the guard ranks third (4.5 apg) and the forward ranks fifth (3.9 apg) in the PSAC in assists per game.
Slippery Rock is the only team in the PSAC with two of the top five players in assists per game.
KNOCKING DOWN THE FREE ONES
The Rock shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line against Indiana. This clip was their highest of the season while taking at least 10 attempts. Wade and
Hannah Pugliese were perfect from the line with a 6-of-6 and 2-for-2 performance, respectively. Haggerty split her four attempts with two makes. SRU's previous high was a 80 percent (16-20) in its 66-40 win over Mansfield.
CONVERTING OFF TURNOVERS
Slippery Rock forced Indiana into 14 turnovers and cashed in 19 points off giveaways. The 19 points off turnovers was the most SRU has had in a game this season. The Rock outscored IUP, 19-16, off turnovers. This was the fourth time this season that IUP had been outscored off turnovers. Entering Wednesday night, the Crimson Hawks averaged 10.1 more points off turnovers than their opponents per game (22.1-12.0).
A HEAD COACHING HOMECOMING

Ryenn Micaletti will be leading The Rock at her alma mater Saturday for the third time in her time at the helm of the program. Micaletti played for the Griffins from 2007-11, appearing in 76 games in the final three seasons.
Micaletti helped SHU go 45-16 in her final two seasons with the Griffins, two years that both concluded with NCAA Tournament appearances. She earned her undergraduate degree from Seton Hill in history following her four-year playing career.
Coincidentally, Micaletti's first coaching job out of college was as an assistant at Point Park University from 2011-13. One of the players she helped coach was Maeve Gallagher, who is in her third year as Seton Hill's head coach.
LEADING THE PACK
Wade is currently averaging 13.2 points per game and 4.5 assists per game this season. The guard sits 30
th in the country in assists per game and is the third highest in the freshmen ranks in Division II. The rookie also leads all freshmen in the conference in scoring and assists.
PROTECTING THE PAINT
Joseph-Bernard has been one of the fiercest shot-blockers in the country so far this season. The forward is currently 28
th in Division II in total blocks with 28 and 33
rd with 1.9 blocks per game. While near the top of the country in blocks and blocks per game, Joseph-Bernard's total rejection numbers atop the PSAC. The senior forward only trails Lock Haven University's Alana Robinson in blocks per game (2.1). Joseph-Bernard has had at least one block in 11 of SRU's 15 games and has eight games with multiple rejections.
Along with Joseph-Bernard, Gillin has also been a force in the paint. Gillin ranks fourth in blocks per game (1.5) and fifth in total blocks (23) in the PSAC. Gillin has had two blocks in each of the last two games for SRU.
RISING UP THE RANKS
Against the Crimson Hawks, Gillin blocked two shots to move within two blocks of Mallory Heinle (2014-18) for 13
th place on Slippery Rock's career blocks list. Heinle ended her career with 50 total rejections
Joseph-Bernard did not block a shot against Indiana, but is still two blocks away from tying Emilee Vitez (2009-13) on The Rock's all-time blocks list with 58 career blocks.
INSIDE-OUT THREAT
Gillin has been a crucial linchpin for SRU both offensively and defensively this year. Not only has she blocked 1.5 shots per game, she's also converted 29 of her 84 3-point attempts on the way to averaging 12.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 44.3 percent from the field overall to go with her impressive shot blocking.
Gillin is one of only three athletes in all of Division II to have recorded at least 25 made 3-pointers and 20 blocks this year.

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING
While typically not the highest scoring player on the court, Joseph-Bernard always finds multiple ways to impact the game. The senior is averaging 9.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 2.1 steals per game.
Joseph-Bernard is the only Division II athlete to average at least 9.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.
APPROACHING FRESHMAN RANKS
Two games into the second half of the regular season, Wade is 61 points, eight 3-pointers away from entering Slippery Rock's top 10 list for a freshman in each category. The freshman is currently chasing Viola Bournes (259 points) and Lori Robinson (20 3-pointers).
Against the Crimson Hawks, Wade dished out five assists to surpass Nikki Presto and Annette Bergman to move into eighth place on Slippery Rock's freshman assists list.
SENIOR SEASONS
Joseph-Bernard and Gillin have been the backbone Slippery Rock's defense this season. The two forwards rank inside the top 10 for blocks as a senior at The Rock as Joseph-Bernard sits in third place with 28 blocks, while Gillin occupies fifth place with 23 blocks.
Karianna Woods picked up two steals agaisnt IUP, moving her season total to 31, just one steal behind Alexis Brown for the 10
th most steals in a transfer's first season at SRU.
Gillin also currently sports the seventh highest 3-point percentage (.345) by a Slippery Rock senior with at least three attempts per game.
HITTING THE GLASS
Joseph-Bernard is one of the premier rebounders in the PSAC as the senior grabs the third most defensive rebounds per game (7.9), the fourth most rebounds per contest (9.1) and the fourth most total rebounds (137) in the PSAC.
Joseph-Bernard's 7.9 defensive rpg puts the senior as the ninth best defensive rebounder in Division II.
IRON WOMEN
Slippery Rock has utilized the same starting lineup of Wade, Hook, Woods, Gillin and Joseph-Bernard in all 15 games this season. The Rock's core five rarely leave the court as every SRU starter averages at least 31.6 minutes per game.
Led by Wade's 37.0 minutes per game, a PSAC-high and the 13
th most in the nation, all five Rock starters are ranked in the top of 12 in the conference in terms of minutes played per game. Hook is also in the top 30 in Division II in mpg as the junior guard ranks 24

IMPRESSIVE OFF THE BENCH
Haggerty played close to a season-high in minutes with 20 against Indiana put in a near career-high 14 points for the second consecutive game as well as three rebounds. The junior forward shot 5-of-11 from the floor overall and 2-for-6 from beyond the arc.
Haggerty will face her previous team in the upcoming matchup at Seton Hill. The junior forward played a total of 92 minutes in 20 games as a freshman for the Griffins. Haggerty averaged 1.1 ppg and 1.3 rpg, while totaling three assists, two blocks and two steals.
BENCH PRODUCTION
Pugliese scored four points and picked up one steal in 14 minutes.
Claudia Ierullo scored her first career points on a 3-pointer. The freshman also earned career-highs with two rebounds and two assists in six minutes.
Jorja Bernesser played in her seventh straight game and scored two points, grabbed one rebound and dished out one assist in a career-high 15 minutes.

SCOUTING SETON HILL
The Griffins started their season with two losses in three games to Fairmont State University and Malone University, before responding with an 11-game win streak. Over that 11-game stretch, SHU averaged 89.2 ppg and won by an averaged of 14.4 ppg. This is the second consecutive game that Slippery Rock will be facing a top five offense in the nation, as Seton Hill boasts the fourth highest ppg average in Division II (85.1). Along with a high-powered offense, the Griffins also sport a stingy defense that limits teams to the 13
th worst 3-point percentage (.240) and collects the 25
th most steals in the nation (12.7).
Individually, Seton Hill has four players that average at least 13.0 ppg. Sisters, Hallie and Helene Cowan lead the way with 18.2 and 16.8 ppg, respectively. They combine for 6.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Mia Kalich has been a walking double-double for Seton Hill as the junior forward has registered 10 double-doubles in 15 games this season. Along with the double-doubles, Kalich has two of the eight triple-doubles in Division II this season and is one of four players in every NCAA division with multiple triple-doubles.
On the season, Kalich is averaging 13.9 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 3.7 apg,and 4.2 spg. Hailee Ford rounds out Seton Hill's double-digit scorers with 13.0 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.9 apg and 1.4 spg.
