LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock opened its season with a 3-0 loss at No. 16 Ashland University Sept. 6.
The Rock held the Eagles scoreless in the first half as they took a 0-0 draw into the break. Ashland held a slight advantage in shots 6-5, but AU committed more fouls than The Rock, 6-4.
Ashland striker Dani Hicks put the Eagles up 1-0 just eight minutes into the second after she buried her own rebound after her first attempt was stopped by
Leah Allman. As Slippery Rock tried to battle back, Ashland would counterattack two more times via Emily Pate and Tessa Blain to finish of a 3-0 win for the Eagles.
Ashland ended with a 14-9 advantage in shots and 10-3 edge in shots on goal.
Abby Paterline led The Rock with two shots, one being on goal.

FROSTBURG STATE SCOUTING REPORT
Frostburg State is 0-1-0 this season after dropping its season opener 3-0 to No. 23 Catawba University in the
D2 IN THE DMV SHOWCASE. The Bobcats were outshot 15-10 but had a 10-7 advantage in corner kicks.
Mollie Rebuck led Frostburg State with three shots and two shots on goal. The sophomore accumulated 16 points last season on seven goals and two assists, which ranked second on the team behind Madi Allen, who has since graduated.
Carly Gillette returned to the Bobcats for her senior season. Gillette had seven goals in 2024, which tied her with Rebuck.
Goalkeeper Mia Graff made five saves and allowed three goals in the matchup against Catawba. Graff has played in 10 games, including one start previous to 2025.
Frostburg State was chosen to finish first in the MEC North by the coaches in the 2025 preseason poll.
