SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The nationally ranked Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse program will host three prospect camps in early August for high school girls entering grades 9-12 in the fall.
The one-day prospect camps are scheduled for August 1, August 4 and August 8 and will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Cost to attend each camp is $85, which includes all sessions at the camp, a t-shirt and an optional campus tour.
All positions are welcome at each camp. The clinics will be geared towards high school lacrosse players with an interest in playing collegiately. Attendees can expect to work on tactical and technical play, small-sided drills and skills, team concepts and live play, all while being evaluated by college coaches.
The Slippery Rock coaching staff of
Taryn Burkholder and
Jordan Anderson has been named the Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year in each of the last two years with Burkholder also being named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Coach of the Year in each of the last two years.
The Rock lacrosse team won the 2025 Atlantic Region title and reached the national semifinals for the first time in program history. SRU finished the year with an 18-3 overall record and has put up 33 wins over the last two seasons combined.
