PUEBLO, Colo. – Slippery Rock University javelin thrower
Isabella Bartoletti earned All-America honors to lead The Rock women's track & field team on the final day of the NCAA Division II National Championships Saturday from Colorado State University Pueblo.
Â
Bartoletti shocked the field to pick up her first career All-America honor after entering the event as the 22nd seed and last entry to be accepted to the competition. She improved 11 places from her seed to take 11th Saturday with a throw of 44.99 meters (147' 7") to earn second team All-America honors.
Â
The All-America finish marks the first of Bartoletti's career and gives SRU its fourth All-American in the women's javelin since 2021 and its 19th overall All-America finish in the event.

The Rock were also represented Saturday by shot putter
Sarah Corrie, who closed her exceptional career with a 19th place finish with a toss of 13.43 meters (44' 0.75"). Corrie won three PSAC titles in the shot put and was the top female shot put thrower in the region over the last three years.
Â
