LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock dropped its non-conference finale to Walsh University in overtime Nov. 30, 67-61, at Morrow Field House.

The Rock were led by Alyssa Gillin's 18 points, five rebounds, five blocks and one steal. Gillin shot 7-for-13 from the floor overall and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Iyanna Wade was the only other Rock player in double-figures with 15 points on 7-for-16 shooting overall. Wade also dished out a career-high seven assist and grabbed three boards.

Joseph-Bernard put in an all-around performance of nine points, a career-high 15 rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals.

Haggerty (five points, five rebounds), Sophia Hook (eight points, six rebounds) and Karianna Woods (six points, six rebounds) rounded out the Slippery Rock scorers.

As a team, SRU blocked nine shots, which is the program's most in a single game since 1990.

PSAC OPENERS
Slippery Rock is 22-26 all-time in PSAC openers. The Rock have won five of its last seven conference openers with an average margin of +6 per game. SRU's largest win in that span was in the 2017-18 season when it took down Shippensburg University, 92-63.

THE ROCK IN PSAC CROSSOVERS
Slippery Rock has historically fared well when playing PSAC East opponents, going 29-25 (.537) since the 2014-15 season. Last season, The Rock split their games with the PSAC East with three wins and losses. SRU's wins came against West Chester University, Kutztown University and Mansfield.

PROTECTING THE PAINT
Joseph-Bernard has been one of the fiercest shot-blockers in the country so far this season. The forward is currently 15th in Division II in total blocks with 16 and 14th with 2.7 blocks per game in the country. While near the top of the country in blocks and blocks per game, Joseph-Bernard's total rejection numbers stand alone atop the PSAC.

Along with Joseph-Bernard, Gillin has also been a force in the paint. The senior blocked five shots last time out against Walsh, marking the fifth most in a single game in program history. On the season, Gillin is blocking 1.5 shots per game.

CASHING IN FROM LONG RANGE
As a team, Slippery Rock takes the second most long-range shots and sports the fifth best 3-point percentage in the PSAC. The Rock scores 32.2 percent (126-of-391) of their points from beyond the arc and converts on 33.3 percent of their 3-pointers in both wins and losses, 13-for-39 in victories and 29-of-87 in defeats.

Hook makes the 44th most 3-pointers in the nation and the third most in the conference with 2.67 made 3-pointers per game.

Gillin cashes in on the fifth most long-range shots in the PSAC with 2.17.

MOVING THE ROCK
Ball movement has been key for SRU putting up 65.2 points per game as it has assisted on 56.4 percent (83-of-147) of it's made field goals.

Joseph-Bernard and Wade lead the way for Rock playmakers as the forward ranks fourth (4.2 apg) and the guard ranks seventh (3.9 apg) in the PSAC in assists per game.

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING
While not the highest scoring player on the court, Joseph-Bernard always finds multiple ways to impact the game. The senior is averaging 7.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.7 steals per game.

Joseph-Bernard is the only Division II athlete to average at least 7.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game.

HITTING THE GLASS
Joseph-Bernard is one of the premier rebounders in the PSAC as the senior grabs third most defensive boards per game (7.8), the fourth most total rebounds (59) and the fourth most rebounds per contest (9.8) in the PSAC.

GETTING TO THE LINE
Wade has had a knack for getting to the charity stripe early in her career. The freshman ranks seventh in the PSAC in made free throws with 20.

HEAVY MINUTES
The Rock's starters command the floor close to the entirety of the game as Wade (24th), Hook (48th) and Joseph-Bernard (62nd) all rank inside the top 65 in the nation in minutes per game. Each member of the trio eclipses 34 minutes on the court per game.
