Slippery Rock enters the match with a 9-3-0 record overall with a 9-1-0 mark in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division, while Pitt-Johnstown holds a 2-6-4 overall record with a 2-6-2 record in the PSAC West.

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock completed the season-sweep of IUP with a 1-0 win over the Crimson Hawks Wednesday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
Slippery Rock held the third-highest scoring offense in Division II, and the nation's leading scorer in Elle Smith, scoreless over both matchups this season.
In addition to being the only team to earn victories over Indiana so far in 2025, SRU has now accounted for two of the three times IUP has been shutout this season – Indiana also tied the University of Findlay 0-0 on Sept. 6.
Slippery Rock has now won five consecutive games, marking the program's second longest winning streak over the last five years.
Libby Zacharyasz scored the lone goal in the game for either team, while
Sophia Palermo picked up an assist on Zacharyasz's marker.
Bailey McGee led SRU in shots with five, followed by Palermo (3) and Zacharyasz (2) as The Rock shot takers.
Allman turned in a four-save shutout effort for her 30th career victory.

Top Drawer Soccer recognized Slippery Rock as its Division II Team of the Week for its 3-1 road win over Edinboro and 1-0 home victory over IUP.
PSAC TOURNAMENT BOUND
Slippery Rock clinched a spot in the PSAC Tournament with its 3-1 win over Edinboro and Pitt-Johnstown's 2-1 loss to Clarion on Oct. 18. This is the 15
th season in a row that Slippery has made the PSAC Tournament. SRU won two PSAC Championships in that span in 2012 and 2019. No. 7 Gannon University and IUP join Slippery Rock with clinching spots in the PSAC Tournament from the Western Division.
All five spots in the PSAC East have been clinched with West Chester University, Shepherd University, Bloomsburg University, Kutztown University and Millersville University claiming spots. Although the seeding order is still to be determined over the final four games of the regular season.
STANDINGS CHECK
The match against UPJ marks the third game of the second slate of round-robin play in the PSAC West. Slippery Rock sits in second place in the division with 27 points, one point behind No. 7 Gannon for first place. While SRU has already secured a postseason berth, it is still fighting for postseason seeding and a potential division title. With its loss to Slippery Rock, IUP now sits five points behind SRU for second place in the Western Division.

Allman has been The Rock's starter for all 12 games so far this season. The junior from Olmsted Township, Ohio has a 9-3-0 record with a .792 save percentage, while allowing 0.957 goals per game. Allman has recorded five shutouts so far this season.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY
Zacharyasz has been a starter since she arrived at Slippery Rock. In her career, Zacharyasz has started 67 out of the 68 games she has played, including 62 in a row, which has her ranked fifth place in Slippery Rock history for consecutive games started. With a start against Pitt-Johnstown, Zacharyasz will move four games behind
Sydney Patrick (2020-24) for fourth place on the list.

During Slippery Rock's impressive 2025 season so far, the team has multiple players rank inside the top 10 PSAC categories.
Palermo is among the top players in the PSAC in assists. Palermo ranks fourth in the conference in total assists with six and fifth in assists per game with 0.50. Palermo ranks eighth in the PSAC with two game-winning goals. The two game-winners came in back-to-back games for Palermo against Edinboro and California (Pa.). Zacharyasz joins Palermo at eighth in the conference with two game-winners.
Salisbury sits ninth in the conference in shots accuracy while hitting the net on .529 percent of her shots taken.
During her solid season in goal, Allman has boasted the second most shutouts in the PSAC with five clean sheets. Also, Allman has the seventh best GAA in the PSAC with .957 and the eighth best save percentage in the conference with a .792 mark.

While the United Soccer Coaches Regional Rankings are a good indicator of where teams stand, starting next week, the NCAA will release its first batch of regional rankings.
The NCAA's regional rankings are the only official ranking used by the Division II Women's Soccer Committee's to determine which teams from each of the eight regions will qualify for the 56-team NCAA Division II playoffs. The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through the final three weeks of the season until final selections are revealed Nov. 17.

PITT-JOHNSTOWN SCOUTING REPORT
The Mountain Cats are currently one spot outside of PSAC Tournament position with a 2-6-4 record overall and a 2-6-2 record in the PSAC West. Pitt-Johnstown is three points behind Clarion for the fifth and final position.
Sarah Henry and Maddie Barrick lead UPJ in goals with four, while Henry tops the team in points with 11. Rylee Fry is the only other Pitt-Johnstown player that has scored (2).
Lydia Roman paces the Mountain Cats with four assists, while Henry trails Roman by one assist. Barrick, MJ Labinjo and Sarah Rader round out the UPJ's assist leaders with one helper each.
Emma Morin has been the starting goalkeeper for Pitt-Johnstown in nine of its 12 games. She has a 2.19 GAA and a .721 save percentage. In UPJ's previous match this season against The Rock, Morin made four saves in the loss.
