SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team returns home for Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division action as it celebrates Senior Day against Pitt-Johnstown 2 p.m. Saturday at James Egli Field.

SERIES HISTORY
Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown first played each other in 2013, which resulted in a 4-0 Rock victory. Slippery Rock won the first nine matches in this series. The series has been active every season since 2013, and they have played 18 times total. SRU owns a 15-2-1 all-time record against UPJ and is 6-2-0 at home against the Mountain Cats.

Last season, Slippery Rock grabbed a pair of multi-goal victories as it prevailed 2-0 and 3-0. Lindsey Price, Abby Paterline, Libby Earley and Marissa Salisbury each scored one goal against UPJ in 2025, while The Rock also benefited from one own goal by the Mountain Cats. Lilia Battalini dished out two assists in the wins. Leah Allman started both games, surrendering zero goals and making eight saves. Allie Burkholder also appeared in one of the games, making one save in15 minutes of action.

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock waited through a 53-minute weather delay to earn a 1-1 draw in PSAC West play against Gannon University Sept. 9 at McConnell Family Stadium.

Jilly Deivert scored Slippery Rock's goal with less than five minutes to play in the first half on The Rock's first shot of the game. Price was the only other Rock player to take a shot, landing it on goal.

Allman made five saves in the draw, making one in the first half and four in the second.

Gannon ended the game outshooting Slippery Rock, 13-2, including 7-2 in shots on goal. SRU ended with six saves compared to Gannon's one.

RESULTS IN ERIE
Grabbing a win or draw in Erie, Pennsylvania has been a tall task for Slippery Rock in the past, but with the score last time out The Rock earned their first draw in Erie since the 2021 season when the two sides drew, 0-0.

RECEIVING VOTES
Slippery Rock landed in the receiving votes section of the Top 25 poll released by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) and Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC). The Rock slid in as the third team outside of the Top 25. SRU is looking to be ranked for consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2013-14 seasons. Slippery Rock was ranked as high as No. 23 last season.

SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION
Slippery Rock will honor eight players who are taking part in their last season at SRU prior to Saturday's game.

Leah Allman – A four-year starter as The Rock's goalkeeper, Allman has made 59 starts and has a .733 save percentage along with a 1.22 goals against average. She has collected 36 wins, 192 saves and 21 shutouts. Allman ranks among the top SRU goalkeepers in program history as she sits 4^th in career saves, wins and shutouts. Off the field, Leah is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a one-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team.

Allie Burkholder – Burkholder has been a trusted reserve goalkeeper over her four seasons with the program. Athletically, Burkholder has appeared in one game at SRU. Off the field, she is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

Allie Burns – Spending her four-year career at The Rock, Burns has been one of Slippery Rock's top producers off the bench. She has complied five points on two goals and one assist with a shooting percentage of 1,000 in eight games.

Jordyn Constable – Constable is a member of The Rock's 2024 recruiting class that has played in 24 games and made 17 starts. Constable recorded her first career assist this season, accounting for 1 point. As a part of Slippery Rock's backline, Constable has played over 1,000 minutes. Off the field, she is a two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

Irene Doleno – A four-year participant at The Rock, Doleno has been a key defender on SRU's defense. Doleno has appeared in 20 games and made eight starts. She has secured three points on one goal and one assist in nearly 1,000 minutes of action. Off the field, she is three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

Bailey McGee – A four-year starter for The Rock, McGee has played in 49 games and made 46 starts. She has totaled 22 points on seven goals and eight assists, including 25 shots on goal and three game-winning goals. McGee has also been named the PSAC West Athlete of the Week one time. Off the field, she is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a two-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team.

Sophia Palermo – Another 4-year starter for The Rock, Palermo has played in 47 games and made 39 starts. Palermo has totaled 31 points on 10 goals and 11 assists on 47 shots on goal in over 3,000 minutes played. Palermo enters today tied for 15^th in program history with six game-winning goals. Off the field, she is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete as well as a two-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team.

Lindsey Price – A four-year member of The Rock, Price has played in 47 games and made six starts in her career. She has totaled 11 points on five goals and one assist in over 1,000 minutes played. Off the field, Price is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

ALLMAN TAKES HOME PSAC WEST DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Allman was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week for the fifth time in her career, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Allman, a senior from Olmsted Falls, Ohio, earns Slippery Rock its first weekly award this year. Allman ties Rachel Edge for the second most PSAC weekly awards in program history with five, while Emma Yoder leads the pack with 12.

Allman led Slippery Rock to a 2-0 week while making seven saves and earning one solo shutout as well as one combined clean sheet.

Allman has played 86.4 percent (401-450) of minutes as Slippery Rock's goalkeeper, while keeping a 0.90 goals against average and a .789 save percentage in 2026.

LEADING THE ROCK
Deivert leads The Rock in points early in the season with six on two goals and two assists in five games played. Battalini and Peyton Los and next in line as both have two goals and one assist, followed by Sophia Palermo, who has logged two goals. Eden Williams shares the mantel as The Rock's current assist leader with Deivert as the sophomore has two assists.

Paterline, Bailey McGee, Addison Bell, Chloe Flynn and Summer Hill join Deivert with one goal, while Price, Jordyn Constable and Libby Earley and each have one assist.

Battalini and Deivert lead the charge with 10 shots. Palermo rounds out The Rock's top three shot-takers with eight shots.

Madisyn Sedor, a crucial part of Slippery Rock's backline, leads all Rock field players with 361 minutes played (72.2 mpg).

IN GOAL FOR THE ROCK
Allman leads Slippery Rock in all goalkeeper statistics after starting all five games. Allman has 0.90 goals against average with a .789 save percentage.

Rosie Willmott Joyce has appeared in two games and made one save in 48 minutes of play.

AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
Just five games into the 2026 season, Slippery Rock, as a team and individually, ranks near the top of numerous leaderboards throughout the NCAA Division II ranks.

YOUTH SHINING BRIGHT
Last time out against Gannon, Slippery Rock' starting lineup featured one chance, but still started five underclassmen, which included three freshmen. The Rock also played five underclassmen off the bench, as 52.9 percent of Slippery Rock's players against Gannon were either freshmen or sophomores. SRU also seen production from its youth as 25 of The Rock's 41 points have come via freshmen and sophomores.

SURGING UP THE RECORD BOOK
Allman is approaching numerous records among Slippery Rock goalkeepers. The senior currently sits inside the top five in four different categories (goalie games started, saves, wins and shutouts). Allman sits just one start from tying Dana O'Neil (2009-13) for second place and just four starts from surpassing Yoder for the top spot with 64 starts.

Allman is also just six saves, three wins, and five shutouts away from moving into third place in the respective categories.

PITT-JOHNSTOWN SCOUTING REPORT
The Mountain Cats enter the matchup with The Rock holding a 1-3-1 record overall and a 0-2-1 mark inside the PSAC West. Pitt-Johnstown started its season with a 5-1 loss at Tiffin University before rebounding with a 4-1 victory versus West Virginia Wesleyan College. In division play, the Mountain Cats have lost to Edinboro and California (Pa.) before suffering a heartbreaking draw against Indiana University (Pa.). who tied the game with four seconds left.

On the season, Rylee Fry leads UPJ with five points and two goals, while also picking up one assist, while Sarah Henry paces the Mountain Cats with two assists. Henry, Taylor Zacharda, Maddie Barrick, Faith King, Madelyn Pfaff and Katie Wiley have all scored one goal for UPJ in 2026.

Slippery Rock stays home as it faces off with a fellow PSAC West team tied atop the standings, Clarion, 4 p.m. Sept. 16 at James Egli Field. Last season, The Rock swept the season series over the Golden Eagles with 2-1 and 1-0 victories.
