ABOUT THE DAVE LABOR INVITATIONAL
This marks the first of two home meets this spring for Slippery Rock and is the largest college meet SRU will host this year. The meet is named after the late Dave Labor, a former sprints and hurdles assistant coach at SRU. Labor coached 17 All-Americans and 66 individual PSAC champions over 17 seasons at The Rock before passing away in 2011 after a battle with cancer. This meet includes an SRU Alumni 100-Meter Dash that will take place after the open 100-meter dash. All SRU track and field alumni are invited to run in that race.
