SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team will host a girls youth clinic June 17-19 for girls in grades first through eighth and an elite camp August 17 for high school girls basketball athletes.
 
ROCK WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GIRLS YOUTH CLINIC
The girls youth clinic is designed for girls in grades first through eighth and will take place June 17-19. The cost is $120 per student ($40 per day), and registration includes a free t-shirt.
 
The clinic gives up-and-coming girls basketball players the opportunity to focus on improving their fundamentals and skills while learning from Slippery Rock coaches and players. Instruction will focus on ball handling, passing and shooting, as well as offensive and defensive concepts that will be taught through stations, contests and games.
 
Light concessions and merchandise for purchase will be available.

ROCK WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ELITE CAMP
The elite camp is designed for high school girls basketball athletes in grades nine through 12 and will take place August 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $80 per student.
 
The camp will give players exposure to college coaches, practices and an overall collegiate basketball environment. Students in attendance will run through college-caliber workouts and drills, instructed by head coach Micaletti and her staff, as well as the Slippery Rock women's basketball players.
