WHERE THEY STAND
Slippery Rock has already clinched a playoff berth in this year's PSAC Tournament, marking The Rock's 13th consecutive postseason appearance. Currently, SRU finds itself in third in the PSAC West standings with 35 points, just one behind Gannon and two behind division leader Mercyhurst University.

Slippery Rock is in contention to be any of the top three seeds in the PSAC West. If The Rock closes the regular season first or second in the PSAC West standings, they will host a first round PSAC Tournament game on Nov. 6. The following clinching scenarios are as follows:
  • Slippery Rock clinches the top seed in the PSAC West with a win over Gannon paired with a Gannon loss or tie to Indiana University (Pa.) (Nov. 3), and Mercyhurst losses to Edinboro (Oct. 31) and California (Nov. 3).

  • SRU will secure at least the second seed with a win over Gannon paired with a Gannon tie or loss to IUP (Nov. 3).

  • If Slippery Rock ties or loses to Gannon, it will be the No. 3 seed in the PSAC Tournament.
