Ashley Rea.

HOME FIELD RESUME
Under head coach
Jessica Giegucz, SRU holds a 42-15-6 record when hosting its opponents. Through those 63 matches, The Rock has outscored their competitors 133-50 (+83) in addition to claiming 25 shutout victories.
PSAC WEST PRODUCTION
Overall, SRU has produced six winning conference records since Giegucz's inaugural season in 2015 and holds a 66-24-12 overall mark in PSAC competition.
More specifically, Slippery Rock maintains a strong 40-12-4 (.714) record in conference matches at home and has outscored those PSAC opponents 122-42 (+80) while earning 24 shutout wins.
TWO IN A ROW
Slippery Rock proves itself tough when in need of a bounce win at home, as it has not suffered back-to-back home losses since the beginning of the 2016 season.
DEFENSIVE WINS GAMES
As a team, SRU is fifth in the conference in goals allowed with just seven. The Slippery Rock defense has proven tough over nine matches, holding its competition to just one second-half goal.
Leading the Rock backline is Yoder, the reigning PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week, who is tied for second in the conference in shutouts (4), fourth in goals against average (0.78), fifth in saves (36) and sixth in save percentage (.816).
THE OFFENSIVE ATTACK
Leading the SRU offensive attack is Rea and
Kayla Swope each with three points on one goal and one assist. Following are five players who have also tallied a goal this year in DeLucio,
Jaime Dermotta,
Faith Diffenbacher,
Brooke Riefenstahl and
Morgan Sarver.
Rounding out the offense is
Sydney Patrick with two assists as well as Mascaro and
Kylee Kosek with one assist each.
The SRU offense has been good at prompting scoring opportunities as it ranks fifth in all of Division II in corner kicks with 70.
PSAC STANDINGS CHECK
Following its conference win over Edinboro, The Rock now ranks sixth in the PSAC West Standings with seven points. The top four teams in both the PSAC West and PSAC East standings at the conclusion of the regular season qualify for the conference tournament.
While Slippery Rock currently finds itself two spots away from the postseason, there is still plenty of time left for SRU - nine league games - to position itself for a 12th consecutive trip to the PSAC Tournament as they are only three points away from climbing all the way into a tie for fourth in the division with Indiana (Pa.) and Pitt-Johnstown.
PROGRAM HISTORY UPDATES
For her career, Yoder ranks second in program history in saves (212) and is just two saves away from advancing past Kylie Downs (2015-18) into first. Yoder is also third in goalie wins (34), shutouts (23) and starts by a goalie (54). With nine regular season games remaining, Yoder is on pace to be fourth in program history in consecutive games started.
