SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Slippery Rock University track and field program will host a pair of high school championship meets this week with the 2022 WPIAL Individual Championships Wednesday, May 18 and the District 10 Championship meet Saturday, May 21 at the William Lennox Track at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. ABOUT SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY TRACK AND FIELD
Slippery Rock boasts one of the most successful men's and women's track and field programs in the state of Pennsylvania. The Rock women have won a total of 16 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference outdoor team titles, have placed in the top three at the PSAC outdoor meet 39 times and have won a total of 22 league titles when including the indoor championships. The Rock men have claimed a total of 13 PSAC team titles and have placed in the top three at the PSAC outdoor meet 47 times. Students interested in competing for Slippery Rock in the future should fill out a prospective student-athlete questionnaire
