SCOUTING THE ROCK
LAST TIME OUT: Slippery Rock had its four-game winning streak snapped in a 1-0 home loss Sept. 18 to Mercyhurst University.
NO "I" IN TEAM: As a unit Slippery Rock sits second overall in the PSAC West standings while claiming top spots in numerous statistical categories thus far this season. Together, SRU ranks first in goals (17), assists (15), scoring average (2.833) and margin of victory (2.0).
GOAL GETTERS: The Rock has scored 17 goals through their first six games, which is the most for the program since the 2015 team netted 18 goals to open the season.
DYNAMIC DUO: Seniors
Rachel Edge and
Kayla Swope continue to lead The Rock's attack with their stellar performances this year. Edge, the reigning PSAC West Athlete of the Week, leads the charge landing first in the conference in goals (6) and points (15). For her career, Edge ranks eighth in career assists with 18, 10th in goals (22) and 12th in total points (62).
Swope ranks first in the PSAC West in assists (6) and second in points (13) while improving to 18th in career assists in program history. Both Swope and Edge tallied nine total goals a season ago which they are both on track to match or improve on by the end of the 2021 season.
SHES A KEEPER: In six starts, goalkeeper
Emma Yoder has made 20 saves with a .800 save percentage and five goals allowed while holding a 0.80 goals against average.
ROUNDING OUT THE ATTACK: SRU's offensive attack is aided by six other players who have landed a goal or more this season.
Jordyn Minda has netted two herself while the quintet of
Faith Diffenbacher,
Georgia Nagucki,
Sydney Patrick,
Ashley Rea and
Olivia Yoder have all tallied a goal apiece.
AGAINST IUP: In previous battles with the Crimson Hawks, numerous players have found success. Swope has scored two goals while collecting an assist, Nagucki has tallied a goal and an assist, Edge has netted a goal and
Katy Ericson has produced an assist. Yoder has earned two wins while making eight saves and allowing two goals.
ON THE ROAD: Slippery Rock is undefeated on the road this year at 2-0 and has won three straight away games dating back to the 2019 season. The Rock's last road defeat came at Indiana on Oct. 26, 2019. SRU has not had a losing record on the road since 1997 when it ended the season 3-6 in away matches.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON HAWKS
Last time out: IUP played Gannon University to a 0-0 tie.
The Crimson Hawks are led on offense by Hannah Scardina who has scored two goals and collected an assist, Mahogany Willis who has tallied a goal and an assist and Camila Gonzalez-Toledo who has netted a goal also.
In four starts, goalkeeper Samantha Gildner has made 34 saves with a .919 save percentage while allowing only three goals on an 0.71 GAA.
