LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Nine members of last spring's Slippery Rock University softball team were honored on the Easton National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athletes list that was announced by the NFCA Tuesday.

In order to be named to the All-American Scholar-Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average above 3.50.

Slippery Rock had nine players on the 2021 roster last spring that met that standard, including
Kelsi Anderson,
Ashley Calkins,
Cami Fisk,
Mackenzie Freeman,
Maggie Moore,
Haley Schmidt,
Chloe Sharman,
Anna Villies and
Claire Zimmerman.

The 2021 Rock softball team combined to post a 3.486 overall GPA following the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year.
