Rock softball to host Elite Skills and Scrimmage Aug. 4

The Slippery Rock softball program will host an Elite Skills and Scrimmage camp August 4 for high school players and college transfers.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University softball team has announced that it will host an Elite Skills and Scrimmage camp August 4 for high school girls currently in ninth grade and up as well as college transfers.
 
The camp will run from 9 a.m. –1 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Individuals interested in attending can sign up before August 1 at the link above. The cost to attend is $125 per player.

The position-specific camp will provide hands-on instruction in advanced offensive and defensive techniques and will have attendees participate in game-like situations, putting their training to the test in live scrimmages. Slippery Rock's experienced coaches will provide personalized feedback to help players identify areas for improvement and maximize their potential. Additionally, timeouts will be called in the situational game for on-field coaching instruction.

This camp is ideal for serious softball players looking to gain exposure, experience a collegiate-level practice and take their game to the next level.

SCHEDULE
8:30 a.m. - Registration
9-10:30 a.m. - Position Specific Drills
10:30-11:30 a.m. - Break
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Situational Game
