Prior to Saturday's game The Rock's 2021 senior class of Emily Arnold, Katlynn Bradford, Rachel Edge, Katy Ericson, Jordyn Minda, Georgia Nagucki, Tori Norton, Reagan Reeves, Megan Sikora, Emma Yoder will be recognized for their contributions to the program over their careers.

LAST MEETING
The Rock shutout the Crimson Hawks in a narrow 1-0 victory earlier this season, Edge scored a goal in the 85th minute and Yoder stopped IUP's lone shot on goal to secure the SRU victory Sept. 22 on the road.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
LAST TIME OUT: Slippery Rock was edged in a narrow, 1-0, defeat by PSAC West rival Mercyhurst on the road Wednesday.
 
PSAC PLAYOFF PICTURE: With four regular season matches left, Slippery Rock (25) currently lands one point behind PSAC West leader Gannon University (26) in the conference standings while holding a three-point lead over third place Mercyhurst (22) and four-point lead over Edinboro University (21) in fourth place.
 
The top four teams in the PSAC West and PSAC East standings at the conclusion of the regular season qualify for the conference tournament. Slippery Rock has qualified for the PSAC Tournament in each of the last 10 seasons and 17 of the last 20 years dating back to the 2000 season.   
 
HOMESTAND: Through seven home matches, The Rock has outscored their opponents by a healthy 21-6 margin. Of its five home wins this season four were by two or more goals.
 
SCORING MACHINE: Slippery Rock remains the top scoring program in the PSAC West, outscoring its opponents 35-13 on the season to go along with a 2.50 scoring average and 1.57 average margin of victory.
 
Aiding in The Rock's offensive onslaught this season are 10 different players who have scored at least one goal in Edge (9), Kayla Swope (6), Minda (5), Nagucki (5), Sydney Patrick (3), Sikora (2), Ashley Rea (2), Faith Diffenbacher (1), Julia Mascaro (1) and Olivia Yoder (1).
 
ROUNDING OUT THE ATTACK: Along with goal scorers are a group of 11 players who have had a hand in setting up a goal this season with at least one assist: Edge (6), Swope (5), Patrick (3), Mascaro (3), Minda (2), Nagucki (2), Katy Ericson (2), Nina King (2), and Sikora, Emily Arnold, Reagan Reeves all with one each.
 
ROCK SOLID DEFENSE: SRU's defense, which allows just 0.93 goals per game, is backed by goalkeeper Yoder. On the year Yoder has made 41 saves to go along with a .759 save percentage and a 0.90 goals against average. She currently ranks third in the PSAC West in GAA and second overall in the PSAC in shutouts (5).
 
In the SRU career record book, Yoder sits fourth in shutouts (16) and games started (40) while landing seventh in saves (153) and third place in wins (29).
 
SECOND HALF STRONG: Through 14 matches, Slippery Rock's defense has held its opponents to just one second half goal this season while The Rock offense has produced 25 second half scores in comparison.
 
ON THE NATIONAL STAGE: As a team, SRU ranks 15th in Division II in goals while landing 16th in assists (27) and points (97). Individually, Edge remains ranked within the top 20 of points, holding the 18th spot.
 
PSAC LEADERS: In the conference, Edge remains first in goals and points as well as claiming second in assists while Swope is tied for third in assists.
 
SRU CAREER BOOKS: Yoder is accompanied by a trio of other Rock players that continue to improve their positions in The Rock's record book as Edge currently ranks sixth in assists (21), seventh in points (71) and 9th in goals (25). Following is Minda, who is 15th in goals (20) and 19th in points (49). Rounding out the active all-time leaders is Swope who claims the 18th spot in assists (14).
 
AGAINST IUP: In previous battles with the Crimson Hawks, numerous players have found success. Swope has scored two goals while collecting an assist, Edge has netted two goals, Nagucki has tallied a goal and an assist, while Ericson and Minda have produced an assist each. Yoder has earned three wins while making nine saves and allowing two goals.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON HAWKS:
Last time out: IUP fell, 2-0, to PSAC West leader Gannon in a home match Wednesday.
 
IUP is led on offense by Hannah Scardina with 20 points on eight goals and four assists. Scardina currently ranks second overall in the conference in points and third in the division in goals.
 
The Crimson Hawk offense is rounded out by Mahogany Willis (4 goals, 1 assist) and Kristen Finnerty (3 goals, 2 assists).
 
Goalkeeper Samantha Glidner has collected 86 saves with a .869 save percentage and 1.11 GAA, making her the PSAC's current leader in saves and save percentage.
