• Last Played: Jan. 16, 2019 (The Rock won 86-61 at SRU)

SERIES HISTORY vs. CLARION
Slippery Rock has taken seven of the last nine games from Clarion over the last five seasons to improve its lead in the all-time series against the Golden Eagles to 42-39. Clarion does hold a 22-18 when playing The Rock at home.

LAST MEETING vs. CLARION
Slippery Rock nearly shot 50 percent from the field while forcing Clarion into 23 turnovers and a 30.8 field goal percentage en route to a convincing 86-61 win at Morrow Field House on Jan. 16. 12 of 13 Rock players that saw the floor scored points led by Brooke Hinderliter with 24. Morgan Henderson added a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds as well.

FIGURING OUT THE PSAC TOURNAMENT PUZZLE
With each school having either four and five league games left to play in the regular season the Western Division side of the PSAC Tournament puzzle is slowly starting to come together.

Indiana (13-1) and California (13-3) have already clenched two of the six spots with Edinboro (11-5) all but assured of a berth as well. On the other end of the standings, Clarion (2-14) is officially eliminated and Mercyhurst (5-11) can't afford to lose more than two of its final games in a best-case scenario.

That leaves four teams - Seton Hill (9-8), The Rock (8-9), Pitt-Johnstown (8-9) and Gannon (7-10) - battling for the final three tournament bids. SHU sits in fourth place while SRU and UPJ are in a tie for fifth with Gannon currently the first team out of the PSAC Tournament in seventh place.

The Rock (vs. Clarion) and Seton Hill (vs. Mercyhurst) figure to have a chance to separate themselves slightly from the four-team pack this weekend while UPJ (vs. California) and Gannon (vs. Edinboro) have tougher contests.

Going off of current records, Seton Hill has the hardest remaining league schedule of the four followed by Pitt-Johnstown, Slippery Rock and Gannon.

LAST TIME OUT
Daeja Quick and Brooke Hinderliter each scored 23 points to go with a smothering defensive performance by the Slippery Rock women's basketball team in a 90-63 win Feb. 13 at home against Mercyhurst.

QUICK HITS
• Brooke Hinderliter has scored almost at will in five career games against Clarion as she has averaged 18.2 points a contest to go with 6.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

• Morgan Henderson has notched back-to-back double-doubles against the Golden Eagles and has scored 10 or more points in four straight games against Clarion overall.

• A victory against Clarion would give Slippery Rock nine or more league victories in a season for the eighth time in the program's 42-year history and the third time in five years under head coach Bobby McGraw.

• Good things have happened when Slippery Rock has been able to head into halftime with a lead as SRU is 9-1 when ahead or tied after 20 minutes of play.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Slippery Rock is led by junior guard Brooke Hinderliter, who averages 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 83.5 percent at the free throw line. She is the PSAC's sixth leading scorer and has scored 25.5 ppg over the last two games.

• Ciara Patterson is The Rock's second leading scorer with 12.5 points per game. Patterson, who has made 55 of The Rock's 117 3-pointers this year, is also tied with Hinderliter for the team lead in steals with 28.

• Daeja Quick is Slippery Rock's third leading scorer at 8.9 points per game. She has displayed the ability to take over games as evidenced by her 23 points against both Walsh and Mercyhurst this season.

• The Rock's top interior player, Morgan Henderson has posted team-highs this season in rebounding (8.6 rpg) and total blocks (19) while scoring 7.7 points per game.

• Madison Johnson is the third leading scoring reserve in the PSAC West, and fifth in the PSAC overall, at 7.9 points per game to go with 4.0 rebounds. She has reached double figures in five of the last seven games.

• LeeAnn Gibson has recorded at least five rebounds in nine of her 17 games played this season. 38 of her 78 rebounds this season have come on the offensive glass. She also shoots 54.5 percent from the floor for 6.9 points per game.

• Karington Ketterer provided Slippery Rock with 23 quality minutes off the bench against Mercyhurst, scoring a season-high six points, grabbing four rebounds and blocking one shot. She is second on the team this season in blocks with 13.

FIGURING OUT THE ROAD WOES
Slippery Rock is a solid 6-4 this season when playing at the friendly confines of Morrow Field House, but just 4-9 when playing away or neutral-site games. Slippery Rock has allowed 82.1 points per game in 10 true road games this season, up from 70.2 points per game allowed at home.

HIGHEST OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION IN 17 SEASONS
This year's Slippery Rock team is scoring like few SRU squads have in recent memory. With five games left in the regular season, Slippery Rock is scoring 69.6 points per game, the sixth highest average in the PSAC this season. Slippery Rock has not finished the season scoring more than 69 points per game since 2001-02 (70.5) and The Rock has not finished the year ranked higher than sixth in the PSAC in scoring since 2008-09 (sixth / 68.1 ppg).

55 3's AND COUNTING FOR PATTERSON
Ciara Patterson's 55 made 3-pointers this season are already the eighth most in a single-season in Rock history, and fourth in the PSAC this year. She is on pace to finish with 67 3-pointers this year, which would rank third all-time at The Rock.

QUICK COMES UP BIG
Daeja Quick appears to be firing on all cylinders as of late. After going for 23 points against Mercyhurst, Quick has now hit double figures in three of her last four games and is averaging 12.5 points per game over the stretch.

BLOCK PARTY FOR HENDERSON
Morgan Henderson recorded a career-best four blocks against Mercyhurst. The four-rejection night is tied for the second most blocks in a single-game in program history, and the first since Lexi Carpenter had four at Kutztown in 2016-17. For her career, Henderson has 63 blocks, the fourth most in school history. She needs three blocks to tie Shelbey Wardman (1998-02) for third place.

5TH MOST POINTS AT MORROW IN 13 YEARS
Slippery Rock's 90-point outburst against Mercyhurst marked the fifth highest points output by The Rock at Morrow Field House over the last 13 years, a span of 166 home contests.

LIMITING TURNOVERS
Slippery Rock has done a great job winning the turnover battle this year as it ranks second in the PSAC in turnovers per game (14.0), fifth in turnover margin (+1.5), and ninth in turnovers forced per game (15.7).

KEEP IT UNDER 70
70 has become a magic number for The Rock this season, as they are 10-0 when allowing under 70 points and 0-13 when allowing at least 70 points.

In 10 wins this season, Slippery Rock is allowing 61.9 points per game, with opponents shooting 35.3 percent from the floor and 30.1 percent from 3-point range. However, in 13 losses this season, SRU is giving up 85.2 points per game, with opponents shooting 45.5 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from 3-point range.

HENDERSON CLIMBING ROCK ALL-TIME LISTS
As she winds down her career, Morgan Henderson is already, or is on pace to, finish in the top 10 in several statistical categories at SRU. She currently ranks fourth in offensive rebounds (179), fourth in blocks (63), fifth in defensive rebounds (420), fifth in games played (107), eighth in total rebounds (599), 10th in minutes played (2,490) and 30th in points (728).

• Kadijah Dickson has paced Clarion this season with 15.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Yindiah Bobo is Clarion's second leading scorer with 10.4 points per game and a team-best 3.9 assists per game.
