LAST MEETING
Slippery Rock defeated Clarion last season on Sept. 13, 2017, 1-0, at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Kaitlyn Barackman tallied the game-winner in the 35th minute off passes from Tyler Spence and Tess Keeley.
 
SERIES HISTORY
SRU is currently undefeated with a 21-0-2 record in its history against CU dating back to 2001. Slippery Rock has won the last four matchups between the two teams since 2014 and has outscored the Golden Eagles in that timeframe, 9-2.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock shut out Mansfield last Saturday, 6-0, in a PSAC contest at James Egli Field. SRU tallied goals from Jordyn Minda, Brooke Testa, Georgia Nagucki, Kaitlyn Barackman, Skye Kramer and Reagan Reeves. Rachel Edge assisted on three of the six scores.
 
• PUTTING UP BIG NUMBERS – The Rock's six goals last game are the most it has scored in a contest since it tallied seven at Mansfield last season on Sept. 9, 2017. SRU also totaled 24 shots, which was the most it's fired in a game since managing 26 at Shippensburg last season on Oct. 28, 2017.
 
• THIS IS FAMILIAR – All of Slippery Rock's wins this season have been shutout victories. All of SRU's wins against Mansfield have been shutouts.  
 
• GIVING THE TEAM AN EDGE – Edge's three assists last game tied her for the second most by a Rock player in a single game. She is currently tied for the team-lead in points with five on one goal and three assists.
 
• SPREADING THE WEALTH – Minda and Barackman registered their second goals of 2018 against MU. However, Slippery Rock added some new goal scorers to the statistics page in Testa, Nagucki, Kramer and Reeves. For Nagucki and Reeves, they recorded their first career goals in an SRU uniform.
 
• TOUGH TO SCORE ON – Defensively, SRU is tied for second in the PSAC in goals against average (0.50) and goals allowed (2). Goalkeeper Kylie Downs, is tied for the league lead in shutouts with three, has a goals against average of 0.49 and a save percentage of .867.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
• Despite being 0-4-0, Clarion has lost its last two games by one goal. The Golden Eagles lost 2-1 at Mercyhurst and 1-0 against No. 6 West Chester.
 
• Charlotte Allen and Mackenzie Sheldon have scored the team's only goals this season and have two points apiece. Sheldon leads the team in total shots with five and Allen has posted two total shots.
 
• Another offensive contributor is Veronika Noyszewski. She's tallied one point on one assist and has recorded three shots.
 
• Krista Mosi and Brigid Stermel both played games in goal for CU. Mosi has started all three games she's appeared in making 21 saves on 30 shots faced posting a .750 save percentage and a 2.33 goals against average. Stermel earned one start and made seven saves on 10 shots faced tallying a .778 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.
