LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's and women's track and field teams combined for nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks and one NCAA provisional mark at the Bison Outdoor Classic that concluded Sunday evening from Bucknell University.

Slippery Rock sent a select group of just 15 total athletes to Bucknell this weekend, while the majority of the team competed Saturday at Westminster.

JJ Ollio led the way at Bucknell with an NCAA provisional mark in the shot put, where he was the top Division II finisher in fourth place overall with a season-best mark of 16.86 meters. He also recorded a PSAC qualifying mark in the discus throw with an 11th place finish and a mark of 47.94 meters.

Jeremy Parsons comfortably qualified for the PSAC meet in the 10,000-meter run with a 36th place finish in the elite section of the race. His time of 31:14.38 was the top time recorded by any PSAC runner at the meet.

The final PSAC mark on the men's side belonged to
Josh Rader, who placed 54th overall in the 1,500-meter run in 4:04.06.

The women's team was paced by three runners reaching the PSAC mark in the 800-meter run, led by
Caitlyn Janeda with a 16th place showing in 2:15.95.
Kacey Raible was 56th overall in 2:22.00 and
Madison Przicina was 61st in 2:22.81.

The final PSAC mark on the track belonged to
Matti Dunham, who placed 33rd in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:13.56.

The last PSACÂ mark of the weekend belonged to
Kelci Yale with a 35th place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.27 meters.Â
The Rock will return to action this Thursday at home with the SRU Open.
