LAST TIME OUT
Walsh scored 11 of the first 13 points against Slippery Rock and never looked back on the way to a 93-73 home victory against SRU on Nov. 21.

AN ALL-AROUND THREAT
Despite an off game against Walsh, Hinderliter is without a doubt one of the top all-around guards in the ultra-competitive PSAC. Heading into the Thanksgiving Tournament, Hinderliter has produced per game averages of 16.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting 48 percent from the field and 83.3 percent at the foul line.

Hinderliter is one of just two players in the entire conference to currently average at least 16 points, six rebounds and two steals per game.

INSTANT IMPACT
Sophomore guard Daeja Quick first established herself as a standout Division II player as a rookie at the District of Columbia where she averaged 16 points and 2.2 steals per game on the way to being named the East Coast Conference Freshman of the Year. She is now following up on her first-year success in fine fashion as a transfer at The Rock.

Through four games, Quick has averaged 11.5 points, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. She had her best game in a Rock uniform in SRU's last game at Walsh as the crafty guard tallied 23 points, six assists, six steals and five rebounds.

PURE THIEVERY
Quick's six steals against Walsh were the most by a PSAC athlete this season and are tied for the eighth most in a single-game in Slippery Rock history. The last Rock player to record at least six steals in a contest was Erica Aiello, who came away with seven steals against Salem University during the 2014-15 season.

SUPER EFFICIENT
Henderson has been The Rock's most efficient scorer this season. She has averaged 10.3 points per game on just 7.5 field goal attempts per contest. Henderson, who also pulls down 4.8 rebounds per game, is shooting 56.7 percent from the field overall and has made 11 of her last 19 field goal attempts (including a 3-for-5 mark from 3-point range).

BOUNCE-BACK TIME FOR PATTERSON
Redshirt senior guard Ciara Patterson will look to return to form with a successful pair of games this weekend. Patterson, who is The Rock's third leading scorer at 11.5 points per game, went 8-for-18 from 3-point range in SRU's opening two games at the CIAA-PSAC Challenge against Johnson C. Smith and Elizabeth City State, but made just three of 15 shots from deep against Bowie State and Walsh.

Despite the recent rough shooting patch, Patterson still ranks seventh in the PSAC in 3-pointers made with 11 and 14th in 3-point percentage at .333.

NEWCOMERS PLAYING BIG ROLES
In addition to Quick, several other Rock players who are in their first year with the program are playing big roles for SRU. Junior forward Karington Ketterer, who is one of only two true post players for SRU, is averaging one block per game. Sophomore guard Brittany Andrews has stepped up to play 14.5 minutes per game, scoring 3.0 points and grabbing 3.0 rebounds a night. Redshirt sophomore guard Kasch Harris, who while on the team missed last year due to injury, has started all four games for SRU.

CAUSING HAVOC ON DEFENSE
Slippery Rock has done a great job of forcing opponents into turnovers while at the same time limiting its own mistakes. Through four games, Slippery Rock ranks third in the PSAC in turnover margin (+6.00), fourth in opponent turnovers per game (20.3) and third in steals per games (9.75).

While the majority of the season is still to be played, both of The Rock's current turnover margin and turnovers forced per game would be single-season program records.

Conversely, The Rock has committed more than 15 turnovers in a game this season just once and are averaging just 14.3 miscues per game, the fifth lowest total in the PSAC.

NO CUPCAKES
While many teams tend to pad their records with very winnable non-conference games, SRU takes the opposite approach by scheduling as many competitive games as possible in preparation for a grueling PSAC West gauntlet.

Of its seven non-conference opponents in 2018-19, Ashland went 36-1 a season ago and advanced to the NCAA Division II national title game, Bowie State played for the Atlantic Region championship before finishing the season with a 22-10 record while Walsh (21-9), Wayne State (19-8) and Johnson C. Smith (18-10) all finished with winning records as well.

REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENT
Slippery Rock won just 19 games in the four seasons prior to McGraw's arrival, but since taking over at SRU McGraw has led Slippery Rock to 45 victories. The +26-win difference between four-year stretches (2010-14 / 2014-18) is the 18th highest in Division II among the 127 schools that had losing records overall from 2010-14.

IMPROVING ON THE ROAD
Slippery Rock has won at least five true road (non-neutral site) games in each of the last three seasons under head coach Bobby McGraw. Prior to the current run, the last time SRU won at least five road games over three straight seasons was in 1999-00 (10-2), 2000-01 (8-6) and 2001-02 (5-7).

ELITE COMPANY
Both Henderson and Hinderliter are on the cusp of etching their names alongside some of the top players in program history as both players are on pace to reach the 500 career point / 500 career rebound plateau this season. To date, only 14 Rock players have reached the elusive milestone all-time.

Henderson will enter the weekend with 595 points and 420 rebounds with Hinderliter close behind at 754 points and 343 rebounds.

RECORDS WATCH
The Rock's veteran trio of Hinderliter, Henderson and Patterson will be working their way up several SRU career record lists as the 2018-19 season progresses.

Just a junior, Hinderliter currently ranks sixth in school history in career offensive rebounds (149), 10th in free throws made (233) and 27th in points scored (754).

SRU's lone four-year senior, Henderson is 10th all-time in offensive rebounds (131), 12th in blocks (44) and 14th in defensive rebounds (289).

A gifted shooter, Patterson has needed just 42 games in a Slippery Rock uniform to make 92 3-pointers, the 11th most in program history.

UP NEXT
With the majority of its non-conference schedule now over, Slippery Rock will open PSAC play on the road 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at East Stroudsburg University. Following the ESU game, Slippery Rock will embark on a season-long five-game homestand.
