LAST TIME OUT - Slippery Rock blanked Mansfield 7-0 in a PSAC road matchup Saturday. The Rock scored six of its seven goals in the second period. Keeley led scorers with two goals, while Burkholder,
Brooke Testa,
Skye Kramer,
Madison Thierry and
Tyler Spence each recorded a goal as well.

WHICH FUTBOL WERE WE PLAYING? – SRU scored a touchdown and an extra point in Saturday's contest at Mansfield. It was the eighth time since 2003 that The Rock has scored seven goals in a game. It's the most goals Slippery Rock has registered since Sept. 5, 2015 against Daemen, when SRU won, 7-1.

YEAH, GOING BACK-TO-BACK – With the victory Saturday, The Rock registered back-to-back shutout victories for the first time since Oct. 22-25, 2016 when it beat Lock Haven 3-0, and followed that win up with a 1-0 victory against Seton Hill.

WONDERWALL – Goalkeeper
Kylie Downs has been solid in goal this season posting consecutive shutouts and allowing just two goals on 25 shots faced. The Slippery Rock backline on defense has been stellar thus far as well. SRU defenders have limited opponents to just a .100 shot percentage.

ATOP THE MOUNTAIN – With its record of 2-1-1 and a PSAC mark of 2-0-1, The Rock currently sits atop the league standings alone early this season with seven total points. Kutztown, Bloomsburg, Gannon, East Stroudsburg, West Chester and IUP are all tied for second with six.

AGAINST CLARION – Many current Rock players have found some success over the Golden Eagles in recent games. Keeley leads those scorers with two career goals and an assist. Other contributors against CU are Burkholder (two assists), Testa (one goal) and
