SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will begin its attempt for its fourth Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title when it plays at East Stroudsburg University 6 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the PSAC Tournament.

ROCK PSAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Slippery Rock has won three PSAC championships (2003, 2005 and 2012) with its last title coming in 2012. SRU has qualified for the PSAC Tournament 15 times and has not missed out on appearing in the conference tournament since the 2009 season.

SERIES HISTORY
East Stroudsburg leads the all-time series, 12-10-4. Slippery Rock has not won a game against the Warriors since Oct. 25, 2013. SRU has also played ESU in the PSAC Tournament three times since 2012 and has won just one of the matches in that span.

Slippery Rock dropped a 1-0 contest at East Stroudsburg Sept. 30 earlier this season. After a goal from ESU in the 40th minute, SRU was unable to mount a comeback. Goalkeeper

• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock defeated Shippensburg to close out its regular season schedule, 3-0.
Brooke Testa recorded a goal and two assists, while Downs tallied her seventh shutout of the season.

QUARTERFINAL HISTORY – Since the PSAC adopted its current tournament structure in 2008, Slippery Rock has advanced out of the quarterfinals and into the semifinals four times.

ULTIMATE TESTA – Testa leads SRU scorers this season in total points with 19 on five goals and a PSAC-leading nine assists.

SKYE HIGH SCORING TOTAL – Skye Kramer is tied for the team-lead in goals scored (five) with Testa. She has also recorded three assists in 2017.

WE ARE DOWNS WITH THAT – Downs has been a force in goal for The Rock this season tallying a .848 save percentage, ranking second in the PSAC in individual shutouts (seven) and fourth in the league in goals against average (.733).

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
• East Stroudsburg closed out the regular season with a 0-0 draw at Clarion to clinch the third seed in the PSAC Tournament.

• Monica Wood and Jules Sicker have recorded six goals apiece to lead the team.

• Alex Pickett and Haley Skove rank tied for third on the roster with five goals, while four other players are tied with four goals each.

• Hannah Saggese has registered seven assists this season, leading the team. Wood and Pickett are tied for second on the roster with four assists each.

• Goalkeeper Jules Harris has started all 18 games in goal for the Warriors and has recorded 72 saves, ranks first in the league in shutouts (eight), third in goals against average (.597) and third in save percentage (.867).

If Slippery Rock defeats East Stroudsburg it will play the winner of the Kutztown -Seton Hill quarterfinal game Nov. 3 at a site and time yet to be determined.
