SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Winners of three straight games, the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will look to continue its recent run of strong play with a victory 1 p.m. Saturday at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference competition.

LAST MEETING
Bloomsburg edged The Rock, 1-0, in double overtime at James Egli Field a season ago on Oct. 3, 2015. Allie Barber scored on an assist from Ashley Sanchez 39 seconds into the second overtime period.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The Huskies have won the last two games in the series to narrow Slippery Rock's record against Bloomsburg to 12-11-2 all-time. SRU is 6-6 at Bloomsburg. The Rock's last road loss to the Huskies came during the 2010 season.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
Last Time Out: Maddy Tletski scored two goals and Tess Keeley added another in a 3-1 victory over Gannon University on Sept. 27.
 
• Tletski's two-goal performance against Gannon was her second two-goal outing of the year; she also scored a pair of goals in The Rock's 2-1 victory at California (Pa.) earlier in the season. Tletski's four goals are a team-high and tied for the fifth most in the PSAC.
 
Brooke Testa is The Rock's other multi-goal scorer through nine games with two goals. Keeley, Tyler Spence, Andrea Felix and Sam Thornton all have one goal each.
 
• Spence assisted on two goals against Gannon. The freshman has registered a game-winning goal against Mercyhurst and both assists over The Rock's last three games. The two assists are tied with fellow freshman Miranda Gallucci for the team lead.
 
Madison Johnson logged the first point of her collegiate career with an assist in the win versus Gannon.
 
• Goalkeeper Kylie Downs has started six games this year, including each of The Rock's last four matches, and is 4-2 with two shutouts, a 0.61 goals against average, 19 saves and a .826 save percentage. She ranks third in the conference in goals against average. Downs has surrendered just one goal in The Rock's last three games.
 
• The Rock has closed games strong this year; seven of its 10 goals scored have come in the second half of games and conversely, just two of SRU's nine goals allowed have come in the final 45 minutes of contests this year.
 
• SRU has now gone eight consecutive games without allowing more than one goal; the last team to score more than once against The Rock was Notre Dame College in the season-opener. The school record for consecutive games of holding opponents to one goal or less is 17 in 2011.
 
• Saturday's game will mark the first of four road games over a five-match stretch for The Rock. Slippery Rock is 2-2 in road games this season and 25-14-5 in the last four years.  
 
• No current Rock player has ever scored a goal against Bloomsburg. Keeley has two shots on goal in two games against the Huskies with Felix, Tletski, Dara Demich and Haley Burkholder all tallying one shot on goal against Bloomsburg all-time as well.

Last Time Out: Bailey Bzdak scored in the 92nd minute to lift Shippensburg past Bloomsburg, 1-0, in overtime Sept. 27.
 
• The Huskies feature a balanced offense in which 10 players have combined to score Bloomsburg's 12 goals.
 
• Barber has two goals and two assists for a team-high six points. Megan Callan also has two goals while Allie Camp has one goal and two assists.
 
• Goalkeeper Devon Haviland has played every second for Bloomsburg this season. She has compiled a league-high five shutouts, a 0.73 goals against average, 30 saves and a .811 save percentage
 
• The Huskies rank fourth in the PSAC in goals allowed (seven) and seventh in goals scored (12).
