SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Last time out: Maddy Tletski scored a pair of goals to lead The Rock to a 2-1 road victory over California (Pa.) on Sept. 13.

• Tletski's two-goal game was the first two goals of her college career. She is the first Rock player to score two goals in a game since Demich recorded a pair of goals last season against Pitt-Johnstown.

• Following the win at California, Tletski is now tied with Testa for the team lead in goals with two each. Sam Thornton has scored SRU's other goal so far in 2016.

• Miranda Gallucci's two assists are a team-high. Demich and Andrea Felix each tallied assists against the Vulcans for their first points of the season.

• Demich's assist moved her past Blair Gantz (1997-00) and into a tie with Danielle Cooper (2005-07) for 11th place in Rock history for points in a career with 60. Demich is also one goal away from becoming just the sixth player in SRU history to score 27 goals in her career.

• Felix's point also helped her climb up a spot on The Rock's all-time assists and points leaderboard. Felix now ranks 14th in career points with 56 and eighth in assists with 16.

• Goalkeepers Kylie Downs and Charlotte Elrod have nearly played identical minutes this season. Downs earned the start against California and picked up her first win. On the season she is 1-1 with a 0.77 goals against average, seven saves and a .778 save percentage. Elrod is 1-2 with six saves and a 2.07 goals against average. Elrod stopped two shots in a shutout last season against Indiana (Pa.).

• Testa leads The Rock with five shots on goal followed by Skye Kramer (three), Julianna Esposito (three), Maddy Smith (three) and five others with two attempts on target each.

• Slippery Rock begins the week ranked 11th in the PSAC in both goals scored and goals allowed.

• Prior to last year's 4-0 win, Slippery Rock went two straight games without scoring a goal against the Crimson Hawks. Shutouts have been a recent trend in the series as the last seven games, dating back to 2009, have resulted in a shutout for either SRU or IUP.
