SCOUTING THE ROCK•
Last time out: Slippery Rock suffered a 1-0 setback Oct. 17 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium against No. 24 West Chester.
• For the second consecutive year, Slippery Rock closes the regular season with four consecutive road matches. Last year, Slippery Rock went 2-2 during the stretch, but historically SRU has been much more dominant on the road at the end of the year with a 23-12-5 (.638) away record in October dating back to the 2005 season.
• With every team in the PSAC still having at least three conference games to play, and the teams ranked third through 11th in the conference standings separated by no more than seven points, it's too early for the majority of the league to clinch a spot in the upcoming eight-team PSAC Tournament. However, if Slippery Rock wins two out of its final four games it would be virtually assured of a spot in the postseason.
• Despite being shutout against West Chester, Slippery Rock still leads the PSAC in goals scored with 37. The 37 goals already represent the 12th most goals in program history.
• Slippery Rock has not been shutout in back-to-back games since the 2007 season. No current member of the SRU women's soccer team has lost to Edinboro in their careers.
• SRU is the only team in the PSAC to have six players with at least three goals in junior forward
Dara Demich (nine), junior forward
Andrea Felix (five), senior midfielder
Allison Harbart (four), Binder (three), freshman forward
Brooke Testa (three) and sophomore midfielder
Tess Keeley (three).
• In addition to her goal total, Keeley also leads The Rock in assists with four followed by Demich and senior midfielder
Crysta Ganter with three apiece.
• A quartet of Rock players have had success against Edinboro throughout their careers. Binder and Felix both have goals against the Fighting Scots while Demich and Harbart each have assists.
• Binder and Demich continue to climb the SRU record books. Demich is two points away from moving into 14th place in Rock history for career points and two goals shy of reaching eighth in career goals. Binder needs one assist move into 14th place in school history for career assists.
• Freshman goalkeeper
Charlotte Elrod has been on the field for all but 17:58 of The Rock's season in 2015. She has five shutouts, a 0.78 goals against average (GAA) and a .766 save percentage.
• Slippery Rock's last five wins have all been 4-0 victories.
• Slippery Rock is one victory away from ensuring the program of its 20th consecutive winning season.
