SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will take a three-game unbeaten streak into its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup against Clarion University Wednesday at 7 p.m. under the lights at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

The event will be viewable on most Internet browsers and all mobile devices, including iPhones and iPads as well as devices operating on the Android system. Links to all coverage options can be found at the top of this page.

Records: After a non-conference win at Davis & Elkins College, Slippery Rock re-enters PSAC completion at 2-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in league play. Clarion brings a 2-2 overall, and PSAC, mark into today's game.

Last Time Out: Slippery Rock used its highest scoring output in its last 11 games to defeat Davis & Elkins College 4-1. Andrea Felix scored twice and assisted on a third goal to pace The Rock (Box Score).

Clarion earned its second shutout of the year when it held Pitt-Johnstown scoreless in a 4-0 victory (Box Score).

Scouting Slippery Rock: Slippery Rock is 12-2-1 in games played at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium dating back to 2011. Slippery Rock is third in the league with 34 shots on goal. The remainder of Slippery Rock's 2014 regular season schedule will feature PSAC opponents.

Through four games, Felix is The Rock's leader in both goals scored (two) and total points (five) after her impressive two-goal, one-assist performance in SRU's win against Davis & Elkins. The two-score effort was the second multi-goal game of her career. Her five points are the eighth most scored by a player in the PSAC this season.

The trio of Dara Demich, Leslie Henny and Ali Brosky have added one goal apiece to enhance The Rock's offense. Caitlin Binder and Haley Burkholder have aided SRU's attack, and are tied with Felix for the team-lead, with one assist apiece. Nine of Sam Thornton's team-high 14 shots have been on goal.

Goalkeeper Annabelle Hegeman continues to excel in her first season as a fulltime starter. She already has two shutouts on the year and has allowed just one goal in her last 308:23 minutes played. Hegeman's 22 saves rank third among PSAC goalies.

Scouting Clarion: Taylor Starr is the Golden Eagles' primary offensive threat with two goals and one assist. Anna Chamberlin, Kelly Antonucci, Aaliyah Odom and Katie Chambers have also scored goals. Laura Saussol has seen the majority of time at goal for Clarion. She is 2-2 with 25 saves and a 1.01 Goals Against Average.

Head Coaches: Now in her 20th season in charge of the Slippery Rock program, head coach Noreen Herlihy owns an impressive 241-107-30 record. She needs just nine victories to become the 11th head coach in NCAA Division II women's soccer history to amass 250 career wins.

Sean Esterhuizen is in his first season at Clarion. Prior to taking over the Golden Eagles program, Esterhuizen served as the head coach at Hempstead High School in Dubuque, Iowa for three seasons. Esterhuizen has six years experience as a collegiate head coach at Clarke University (2006-11).

Series History: Slippery Rock has never lost to Clarion, holding a dominant 17-0-2 all-time record against the Golden Eagles.

Last Meeting: A pair goals less than two minutes apart in the first half would end up being all the scoring allowed in a Sept. 10, 2013 1-1 tie between The Rock and Golden Eagles (Box Score).

Clarion's Stephanie Sikora scored 29 minutes into the opening period. However, the lead was short lived as Felix scored just over a minute later to even the match at 1-1 on her second collegiate goal.

The Rock's defense did not allow another shot on goal after Clarion's opening score. Slippery Rock went on to fire off 10 more shots at Clarion's goal over the next 80 minutes, but Saussol managed to turn away every attempt to hold onto the tie (Box Score).

Up Next: Slippery Rock concludes the week Saturday at 1:30 p.m. when it travels to Indiana (Pa.).
