SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The No. 24 Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will look to close out its regular season home schedule by continuing its five-game winning streak when it hosts Bloomsburg and Lock Haven this weekend at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

SRU will play Bloomsburg Friday at 1 p.m. and Lock Haven Saturday at 3 p.m.

Records: Slippery Rock enters the weekend at 8-2-1 overall and 7-2-1 in league games. SRU was recently ranked 24
th in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for a second straight week.

The Huskies come to The Rock at 5-6-1 overall and 4-6-1 in PSAC contests. Lock Haven, which plays at California (Pa.) on Friday, is currently 2-9-1 on the year and 2-8-1 in conference play.

Coins for Cancer: Saturday is Slippery Rock's annual Coins for Cancer game. Rock soccer asks that those in attendance put their spare change into one of the containers located throughout the home bleachers for breast cancer research. All donations will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Senior Day: Also prior to the start of the Lock Haven game, The Rock's senior class of
Ali Brosky,
Brooke Edwards,
Nicole Krueger and
Leslie Henny will be honored for their many contributions to the program.

Senior Notes: The 2014 senior class has helped The Rock to one of its greatest runs of success in program history. Krueger and Edwards, SRU's four-year players, have been apart of 53 wins, one PSAC championship and three appearances to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. Brosky and Henny both transferred to Slippery Rock following their freshman seasons and have helped SRU to 37 victories, one PSAC championship and two Elite 8 appearances. In all, the quartet has combined to play in 175 games, score 23 goals, and pass out 19 assists. If Slippery Rock qualifies for the NCAA Tournament this season it will mark just the second time in program history that a senior class has played in the NCAA Tournament all four years.
Scouting Slippery Rock: One of the many highlights of Slippery Rock's current winning streak has been a stellar defensive effort that has recorded three consecutive shutouts. For the year, SRU is tied with West Chester for the league lead in goals allowed at five. After leading The Rock to wins over Gannon and Mercyhurst with three goals and one assist, Binder was named the PSAC Athlete of the Week.
Andrea Felix is Slippery Rock's leader in points (18), goals (five) and assists (eight). Her eight assists also rank first in the PSAC and eighth in the nation. Goalkeeper
Annabelle Hegeman, who is 16th in the country with a 0.46 GAA, leads the PSAC with six shutouts and a .902 save percentage.
Scouting Bloomsburg: Carroll is the Huskies' leading scorer with seven points off of three goals and one assist. Brooke Mohney has also added two goals while eight others have scored one goal each. Megan Deak is 5-5-1 with 63 saves (.840), five shutouts and a 1.05 GAA.
Scouting Lock Haven: Jamie Hunter has been LHU's top offensive threat this season with team-highs of three goals and three assists. Also assisting on offense has been Haylea Myers with two goals. Michelle Cuomo (2-6-0) and Morgan Euston (0-3-1) have split time at goal for Lock Haven.

Head Coaches: Now in her 20
th season in charge of the Slippery Rock program, head coach
Noreen Herlihy owns an impressive 247-107-30 record. She needs just three victories to become the 11
th head coach in NCAA Division II women's soccer history to amass 250 career wins.

Stephanie Anderson is in the midst of her fourth season at Bloomsburg. Anderson is 25-27-2 through her first three seasons with the Huskies.

Lock Haven alum, Rob Eaton is in his first season in charge of the LHU program. No stranger to the PSAC, Eaton spent the last four seasons as the head coach at Clarion.

Series History: Slippery Rock holds a 17-9-4 edge over the Bald Eagles in the all-time series. SRU has not lost to Lock Haven since the 2006 season, a span of 12 games.

Slippery Rock has won four straight against Bloomsburg and lead the series 12-9-2.
