SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team returns to action Tuesday night when it hosts East Stroudsburg University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crossover game at 5:30 p.m. The Rock will also host West Chester in crossover action Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Records: Slippery Rock enters Tuesday night's game with a 1-7 overall record and a 0-4 mark in the PSAC-West. The Rock is coming off a pair of heartbreaking losses, falling 76-73 against No. 2 Gannon in a near upset and dropping a double-overtime 90-86 decision at Pitt-Johnstown.
East Stroudsburg owns a 4-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in the PSAC-East. The Warriors are riding a two-game losing streak with losses to Millersville and Virginia Union.
West Chester enters its game Tuesday night at California (Pa.) with an overall record of 6-2 and a PSAC-East mark of 4-0. The Golden Rams are riding a five-game winning streak dating back to Nov. 20.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock is scoring 70.5 points per game and allowing 80.8 points per game.
The Rock is shooting 42.1 percent from the field, 29.4 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and 63.7 percent at the free throw line.
Opponents shoot 40.4 percent from the field, 36.0 percent from long range and 74.7 percent at the free throw line.
Jazmyne Frost leads the team with per game averages of 16.1 points and 8.1 rebounds.
D'Asia Chambers, the PSAC-West Athlete of the Week in each of the last two weeks, is averaging 14.9 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. She scored 60 points in the last two games.
Aidan Geise has added 12.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while
Erica Aiello chips in 8.5 points and 3.9 assists per game.
Scouting the Warriors: ESU is scoring 63.9 points per game and allowing 61.5 points.
The team is shooting 37.6 percent from the field, 23.6 percent from 3-point and 70.9 percent from the free throw line.
Opponents are shooting 36.8 percent from the floor, 24.0 percent from long range and 75.0 percent at the free throw line.
Jessica Martin leads the team with per game averages of 13.3 points and 8.4 rebounds. Allison Howard adds 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Ryann Fiascki chips in 8.5 points per game and Helena Gemmell adds 5.3 points per game and has a team-high 31 steals on the year.
ESU Series: SRU owns a 10-5 edge in the all-time series, including a 58-46 win last season at Morrow Field House.

D'Asia Chambers scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Slippery Rock, which also got 11 points from
Erica Aiello and 10 each from
Emilee Vitez and
Erinne Cunningham.
East Stroudsburg was led by an 11-point effort from Jessica Martin, who was the only player in double figures for the Warriors. She also had a team-high six rebounds.

Dallas Ely lead the team with per game averages of 19.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Brittany Sicinski adds 14.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Kendall Benovy scored 11.6 points per game and grabs a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game and Anna Kuntz scored 9.0 points per game and grabs 6.6 rebounds per game.
WCU Series: West Chester owns a 13-6 advantage in the all-time series against Slippery Rock, including a 40-point win last season.

Box Score) West Chester handed Slippery Rock an 83-43 defeat exactly one year ago from the date of their meeting this year, Dec. 18, 2012, at Morrow Field House.
Alexas Brown led Slippery Rock with nine points and no other players managed more than six points for The Rock.
West Chester was led by a 15-point effort from Brittany Sincinski and also got 14 points from Dallas Ely and 12 points each from Jasmen Clark and Meghan Kerrigan.
Head Coaches: Tanya Longo is in her fourth season as the head coach of the Slippery Rock program, where she owns a record of 14-71. She is the eighth head coach in the program's history. Longo was inducted into the athletic Hall of Fame this year at her Alma Mater, Wisconsin Eau Claire, in honor of her excellent collegiate playing career. She is married to Rock football offensive coordinator Phil Longo.
Maureen Smith is in her fourth season as the head coach at East Stroudsburg, where she owns a 27-60 record. Smith is in her second stint on the coaching staff for the Warriors after she served as the graduate assistant for the 1994-95 season.
Deirdre Kane is in her 26th season as the head coach at West Chester, where she owns a career record of 419-291, making her the winningest coach in the program's history. She has led her teams to 18 winning seasons, five PSAC-East titles and four NCAA Tournament berths.
Next Up: Slippery Rock will travel for three straight PSAC crossover games, first visiting Cheyney Dec. 21 for a 1 p.m. game that will be the final contest of the 2013 calendar year. The Rock opens 2014 with trips to Millersville Jan. 3 for a 1 p.m. game and Shippensburg Jan. 4 for a 1 p.m. game before returning home to host Kutztown Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m.
