SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The 24th-ranked Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will travel east for a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matches this weekend. The Rock will visit Bloomsburg Friday for a 3 p.m. game and will play at Lock Haven Saturday in a 5 p.m. match.

Records: Slippery Rock enters the weekend with an overall record of 6-2-1 and PSAC mark of 5-2-1. The Rock is coming off a 6-0 win over Mercyhurst last Saturday.
Bloomsburg enters the weekend with an overall record of 5-6 and a PSAC mark of 3-6. The Huskies are coming off a 3-1 win over Mansfield last Saturday.
Lock Haven enters its game Friday against California with an overall record of 4-5-1 and a PSAC mark of 3-5-1. The Lady Eagles are coming off a 3-1 win over Molloy Tuesday.
Rankings: Slippery Rock has been ranked in five of the six national polls released this season, reaching as high as No. 8 and moving up coming in at No. 24 in this week's rankings, which were announced Tuesday. Bloomsburg and Lock Haven have not been ranked this year.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 19-6 and outshooting the opposition 137-59.
Andrea Felix leads the team with seven goals and two assists and is coming off a hat trick in the win over Mercyhurst. Fellow freshman
Dara Demich ranks second in scoring with four goals and one assist. Sophomores

Allison Harbart each have one goal and three assists.

Scouting the Huskies: Bloomsburg has matched opponents with 19 goals this year and is outshooting the opposition 161-122.
The Huskies are led by Jenna Fisher with eight goals and one assist, while Tara Huber has four goals and three assists and Ashley Sanchez and Jilia Rios each have two goals and one assist.
The defense of Bloomsburg has allowed 63 shots on target.
Danielle Fiorelli has started 10 games in goal for Bloomsburg and is 4-5 with a 1.43 goals against average and a .750 save percentage.
Scouting the Lady Eagles: Lock Haven is being outscored 14-12 and is being outshot 138-114.
Jamie Hunter leads the team with three goals and one assist, while Madison Taylor ranks second with two goals and one assist and Samantha Biondi has two goals and Rhiannon Miller has one goal and one assist. Four other players have one goal to cap the goal scorers.
The defense has allowed 70 shots on target.
Dana Wozniak has started nine games in goal and owns a 3-5-1 record with a 1.33 goals against average and an .806 save percentage.
Head Coaches: Noreen Herlihy, the reigning PSAC and Atlantic Region Coach of the Year, is in her 19th season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. She has led the team to 17 consecutive winning seasons and owns a career record of 230-105-28. The 17 straight winning seasons include 15 consecutive with at least 10 wins and ranks as the eighth-best streak in Division II history.
Stephanie Anderson is in her second season as the head coach at Bloomsburg, where she has posted a 11-16-1 overall record. She led the team to a 6-10-1 mark in her first year at the helm in 2012.
Lynette Reitz is in her first season as the interim head coach at Lock Haven, where she has posted a 4-5-1 record. Reitz is a graduate of Lock Haven and served as the graduate assistant for two years before becoming the interim head coach last summer.

PSAC Gets Deeper: With the addition of Seton Hill and Pitt-Johnstown to the PSAC this year, the league now has 17 women's soccer teams, meaning nearly every game on the 2013 schedule will count in the PSAC standings. The only non-conference game for SRU this season was a 1-0 win at Davis & Elkins Sept. 21.
Next Up: After the weekend road trip, Slippery Rock will host the next five games of the season before closing the regular season on the road at Shippensburg Nov. 2. The home stretch begins Oct. 16 when Kutztown visits for a 3 p.m. game.
