KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Slippery Rock University softball team extended its winning streak to four games by defeating Tiffin, 2-0, and Northwood, 3-0, Friday at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. The wins improved Slippery Rock's record to 5-4 on the season.

Jenna Geibel continued her hot streak, going 3-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Senior outfielder
Gina Brenzo also helped The Rock's cause with a 3-for-5 day at the plate that included one triple. Sophomore first baseman
Breanna Tongel chipped in two hits and one RBI while junior catcher
Katie Saluga also drove in one run.
Slippery Rock's pitching duo of senior

Ashley Knight (2-2) combined to throw two shutouts and give up just eight hits on the day.
Ianno led Slippery Rock to its 2-0 victory over Tiffin by striking out four batters in the complete-game win. Geibel drove in both runs in the victory against the Dragons.
Game two saw Knight put together the best performance of her young career in SRU's 3-0 win over Northwood. In addition to striking out four Timberwolves batters, Knight also gave up just two hits to secure the win.
Geibel went 2-for-3 in the game with a single and a triple while Saluga drove one run home and Brenzo went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate.
Slippery Rock will wrap up its time at the Rebel Spring Games Saturday with games against Wayne State at 9 a.m. and Northwood 11 a.m.
