SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will travel to East Stroudsburg Saturday for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match at 6 p.m.

Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock enters the game with a 7-3 overall record and a 4-3 PSAC mark. The Rock is coming off dominant 5-1 win earlier in the week against Bloomsburg.
Slippery Rock is led by
Lucy Hannon with seven goals and four assists, while
Shelby Ward has three goals and one assist and
Stephanie Buckenheimer has two goals and two assists.
Kara Mullins has two goals and one assist,
Lauren Impey has one goal and three assists and
Caitlin Binder had four assists to cap the leading scorers. SRU is outscoring opponents 22-10 and outshooting the opposition by a 138-87 margin. The Rock has allowed just 39 shots on goal.
Dana O'Neill has played every minute in goal for SRU and is 7-3 with five shutouts. She has allowed 10 goals for a 0.98 goals against average and has made 28 saves for a .737 save percentage.
Scouting the Warriors: East Stroudsburg has surprised many opponents this season and has jumped out to a 5-2-3 overall record and a 4-1-2 start in PSAC play.
The Warriors are outscoring opponents 16-11 and outshooting the opposition 143-108. Cree Julian leads the team with four goals, while Sammi Jo Hughes ranks second with three goals and two assists and Courtney Keller has added two goals and one assist. Ashley McKenna and Carly Collins each have two goals and Marissa Spitler has three assists to cap the leading scorers.
Britain Wagner has started nine of 10 games and is 5-1-3 with three shutouts. She has allowed eight goals for a 0.83 goals against average and has made 42 saves for a .840 save percentage.
Head Coaches: Noreen Herlihy is in her 18th season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. She has led the team to 16 consecutive winning seasons with 10 or more wins and owns a career record of 218-100-24. The 16 consecutive winning seasons rank eighth all-time in Division II history. Herlihy is a 1992 graduate of Mercyhurst College with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine. She also owns a master's degree in sports administration from Slippery Rock.
Rob Berkowitz is in his sixth season as the head coach of the ESU women and his second season as the head coach of the men's team. He has posted a record of 56-40-12 in his time with the women's team. Berkowitz is a 1997 graduate of LIU Southampton College.
