SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. --  The Slippery Rock University volleyball team went 1-3 this weekend at the Raider Classic hosted by Shippensburg University.

On Friday, The Rock went 0-2 as they fell to Ashland 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-23) and Alderson-Broaddus 3-2 (16-25, 26-24, 25-19, 6-25, 15-11).

On Saturday, The Rock finished the tournament 1-1 with a 3-1 loss to West Virginia State (23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-23) and a 3-0 win over Glenville State 3-0 (25-11, 25-23, 25-21).

The Rock returns to action on Wednesday at Morrow Field House against Wheeling Jesuit at 7 pm.
