Women's Volleyball The Slippery Rock University volleyball team finished the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Crossover weekend 2-2 with a 1-1 record on Saturday. The Rock lost 3-0 to defending PSAC East champions Lock Haven and won 3-1 against East Stroudsburg.

Indiana, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University volleyball team finished the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Crossover weekend 2-2 with a 1-1 record on Saturday. The Rock lost 3-0 to defending PSAC East champions Lock Haven and won 3-1 against East Stroudsburg. 

In the first match, freshman Hannah McShea led The Rock with 11 kills on 36 attempts. McShea also added an ace and six digs. Junior Anna Bixler recorded 16 assists and 11 digs. Senior Stacey Domer led The Rock with two aces and 12 digs. 

Lock Haven led in almost all statistical categories, recording a .362 hitting percentage, 40 assists and 45 digs. The Rock led in aces with four. 

In the second match, The Rock took the first set, 25-17, to lose the second 25-22. With a .000 attack percentage, The Rock pulled out the 25-19 third set to finish off the Warriors 25-10 in the fourth. 

Sophomore Kaylee Smith led all players with 12 kills on 43 attempts. McShea led The Rock with 10 digs, also adding 11 kills on only four errors. Junior Kim Wilson led in assists with 14, while Domer added two more aces. 

The Rock returns to action Tuesday at Clarion for the start of the PSAC-West season. The match starts at 7 pm.
