Rock ends season with 3-1 loss to Edinboro

The Slippery Rock women’s volleyball team finished their 2009 season with a 3-1 loss to Edinboro Saturday afternoon. The Rock finishes the season with a 7-25 overall record and a 3-16 record in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.—The Slippery Rock women's volleyball team finished their 2009 season with a 3-1 loss to Edinboro Saturday afternoon. The Rock finishes the season with a 7-25 overall record and a 3-16 record in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Edinboro finished the regular season 22-11 and 13-6 in the PSAC. The Fighting Scots clinched a spot in the PSAC Tournament with the 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16 win.

Senior Stacey Domer led the team in digs with 27 during her final match with The Rock. Sophomores Kaylee Smith and Alee Kromer led SRU with 10 kills each. Smith also added nine digs and three aces. Kim Wilson and Anna Bixler combined for 28 assists, and Alexa Erossy added 12 digs.
