Jess Schake scored a team-high 16 points Saturday afternoon in The Rock's 66-56 loss at Cheyney in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action.

Haley Gaidosh added eight points for the Green and White, who saw their season record fall to 4-6.
Cheyney improved its season record to 4-2.
The Rock was in control of things during the early going as it held a pair of eight-point leads in the first 11 minutes of action. But, after being down by a 16-8 margin with nine minutes left before the intermission, Cheyney closed out fhe first stanza with a 19-6 run and had a 27-22 lead at halftime.
The hosts never relinquished the lead in the final 20 minutes of action.
SRU finished the game with a frigid 36.8% (21 of 57) efficiency in its field goal shooting attempts, made four of 16 (25%) of its 3-point shots and hit 71.4% (10 of 14) from the foul line.
Led by Schake's team-high five rebounds, SRU held a slim 39-38 advantage in rebounding.
Cheyney shot 46.7% (28 of 60) from the field, made 1 of 10 shots from beyond the arc and sank a chilly 56.3% (9 of 16) of its charity tosses.
The Rock travels to Shippensburg for a 1 p.m. "crossover" game Sunday before returning home to host Millersville in a 1 p.m. interdivisional contest next Saturday, Jan. 10.
