Julie Molloy buried five 3-point shots and scored a team-high 19 points Wednesday night to lead The Rock effort in a 79-72 overtime loss to hosting Gannon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action at the Hammermill Center.

Sasha Sales recorded her third "double-double" in the last four games with 10 points and 10 rebounds for SRU, which saw its records drop to 6-10 overall and 1-2 in PSAC-West action.
Gannon improved its season records to 14-2 overall, 2-1 in division play.
In addition to the three double-digit scoring efforts, The Rock got solid performances from junior point guard
Nikki Presto and junior post player
Jess Schake.
Schake scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Presto finished the game with six points, six rebounds and six assists.
The Rock rallied from an eight-point (14-6) deficit early in the game to close the gap to one (14-13) with 12 minutes left in the opening half. A little more than six minutes later, the guests held a 25-23 lead, but Gannon outscored SRU by a 14-8 margin in the final minutes of the first half to take a 37-33 lead into the intermission.
Behind eight points by Molloy (pictured above), The Rock started the second half on fire as it outscored the Golden Knights by a 12-7 margin to take a 45-44 lead with 15:15 left to play.
The Rock held a six-point, 59-53, lead with 7:45 left before Gannon scored six unanswered points in the span of 90 seconds to tie the score at 59-59 with six minutes left.
SRU again took control of the action and pulled out to a five-point, 64-59, lead with five minutes left, only to see Gannon roar back with five straight points to tie the score at 64-64 with just less than a minute left.
The Rock had two possessions in the final minute of regulation play, but could not score any points and the teams headed into overtime knotted at 64.
Gannon then scored the first four points in overtime and never looked back.
The Rock shot a very respectable 48.3% (28-58) from the field in the game, made seven of 17 (41.2%) of its 3-point attempts and sank its only free throw attempt.
Gannon shot a lukewarm 39% (23 of 59) from the field, hit nine of 22 (40.9%) of its shots from beyond the arc and hit 69.2% (9 of 13) from the foul line.
The hosts finished with a 38-36 edge in rebounds and had the lower total in an 18-12 turnover comparison.
The Rock will look to regain its winning ways Saturday when it hosts Clarion in a 1 p.m. PSAC-West game in Morrow Field House.
