CLARION, Pa. -- Ashley Paganie scored a goal and handed out two assists Wednesday night to lead the 13th-ranked Rock to a 3-1 win over hosting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Clarion.

Paganie assisted on The Rock's first two goals, scored  by Alison Hindley and Julianna Howell, before she finished off her night's work with an unassisted goal to conclude the scoring.

Senior Sarah Lacy started in goal for the Green and White and played the first 53 minutes before Lauren McManus minded the net for the final 17 minutes.

The Rock, after being ranked 17th in the preseason poll,  moved up four spots in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II national poll in the wake of its 5-0 season-opening win over Seton Hill last Sunday.

SRU will put its national ranking and No. 2 spot in the NSCAA Atlantic Regional ranking on the line Saturday at 2 p.m. when it hosts PSAC-West rival Edinboro, the No. 4 team in the regional poll, at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
