WALNUT, Calif. -- Rock junior
Pat Reagan will go in search of a second U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America honor Saturday as one of the finalists in the 5,000-meter run at this year's NCAA Division II outdoor national championships.
Reagan recorded the 10th fastest time in Friday's preliminary heats with a time of 14:37.60. Daniel Kirwa of Harding set the pace with a 14:24.76 time.
Reagan will be one of three Rock male student-athletes competing in Saturday's final day competition of the national meet.
Nate Hardic will vie for honors in the javelin throw, while
Brad Mueller is in the finals of the 100-meter dash.
The javelin throw is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Pacific time, with the 100-meter dash finals set for 6:49 p.m. and the 5,000m run slated for 8:07 p.m.

Reagan earned USTFCCCA All-America honors last fall with a 12th-place finish in the cross country national championships.
