WHEELING, W. Va. -- Sophomore forward Alison Hindley scored both Rock goals Saturday afternoon in a 2-0 win at non-conference rival Wheeling Jesuit.
Hindley scored what proved to be the game-winning goal when she knocked home an unassisted tally in the 12th minute.
She then took a pass from sophomore forward Ashley Paganie in the 59th minute and buried it in the back of the net for an insurance tally.
Hindley has now scored 13 goals this season; Paganie picked up her sixth assist of the season.
The Rock and Cardinals each took 10 shots in the game.
SRU returns to action Tuesday, when it will visit Edinboro for a 7 p.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division match. The Rock then visits division archrival Indiana (Pa.) next Saturday, Oct. 18, before returning home for an Oct. 21 division duel with Mercyhurst (4 p.m. at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium).
