SERIES HISTORY
Slippery Rock and Daemen will be meeting for the seventh time in the series history between the two programs. Slippery Rock won the first three matchups in 2014, 2015 and 2021 by a combined score of 5-1. Daemen's lone victory came in 2022, followed by 5-2 and 2-0 victories for The Rock in 2023 and 2025.

Last season's 2-0 triumph for SRU was highlighted by a brace from Kaden Reynolds, along with one assist each from Aashi Pandher and Zsombor Retfalvi. Troy Nine started and played the first 45 minutes for Slippery Rock, making one save and combining for a clean sheet with Dylan Bliss and Alvey Kaufman.

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock played Roberts Wesleyan to a 1-1 draw in non-conference play Sept. 9 at James Egli Field.

Reynolds grabbed the goal for The Rock with Pandher and Nine picking up one assist each.

Reynolds led all shot-takers with five, including three on goal. Caleb Alldredge, Gabin Lonjard and Massimo Cuda each took two shots for SRU, with Lonjard landing one on goal. Pandher, Ryan Hanes and Jonathan Anthony rounded out Slippery Rock's shot-takers with one apiece.

Nine matched his career-high with four saves in the draw, making three stops in the first half and one in the second.

The Rock outshot the Redhawks, 14-5, while Roberts Wesleyan had five shots on goal compared to Slippery Rock's two. SRU ended the game with a 7-5 corner kick advantage, while committing five more fouls (16-11).

ROCK AGAINST THE ECC
Slippery Rock has faced off with East Coast Conference teams 20 times since 2016. The Rock's record in such games is 8-6-6.

NINE PICKS UP SECOND CONSECUTIVE PSAC WEEKLY AWARD
Nine grabbed his second consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Defensive Athlete of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.

Nine, a junior from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, earned Slippery Rock its second PSAC weekly award this year. Nine's second career PSAC weekly award marks SRU's 36^th all-time counting back to 2004. Nine is also Slippery Rock's first player in program history to earn a PSAC weekly award in back-to-back weeks.

Slippery Rock's lone game last week ended in 1-1 draw. During the game, Nine recorded an assist on Slippery Rock's goal, marking SRU's first goalkeeper point since Kyle Hoffer's 90th minute game-tying goal in a, 3-2, double overtime victory against Shippensburg in 2015. Nine made four saves as well against the Redhawks. 

GETTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT … OF REYNOLDS
Reynolds' goal just 31 seconds into the game against Roberts Wesleyan marked The Rock's fastest documented goal to start a game since 2005, when single-game records became available. Previously, SRU;s fasted documented goal was Thomas Pool' goal just 58 seconds in a game at Mercyhurst in 2009.

LEADING THE ROCK
After four games, Reynolds paces The Rock with five points on two goals and one assist. Alldredge, Boele Zwartele and Dylan Greggs each have one goal on the season as well, while Pandher leads SRU with two assists.

Reynolds also leads SRU in shots with 17 and shots on goal with seven. Pandher follows Reynolds with 10 shots and three on goal, while Alldredge rounds out Slippery Rock's top three shot takers with six.

Slippery Rock's minutes leader in the field are Patrick Tierney and Fynn Uebele, who have both played all 360 minutes.

DAEMEN SCOUTING REPORT
The Wildcats enter the matchup with The Rock looking for their first win as Daemen holds a 0-4-2 record, but are coming off a 1-1 draw Sept. 12 against Salem University.

Freshman forward Sincere Noble leads the Wildcats with six points and two goals. Afonso Abreu is the lone Wildcat with a goal and assist with one of each for three points. Selim Ozleplebici and Karim Salme have one gal apiece for Daemen, while Christian Baker and Fabrizzio Jaramillo have one assist each.

Christpher Vasquez has started four games in goal for Daemen, while Colin Hockridge started the other two. Vasquez holds a 2.38 GAA and a .744 save percentage, while Hockridge has a 3.05 GAA and a .706 save percentage.
